Re: Season 2020

I think the proposed cup/conference system is a sensible way to play some football in a hugely disrupted year. It strikes the right balance between being practical, achievable with the constraints and engaginf for players. It also reduces risk of spreading virus if there is a second wave in mid win...

Re: Rangers v Celtic

I'll answer then. I hate Celtic. Cheers  Too bad, you'll be hurting all the more when we get 10! :D You could win 50 in a row and still never make it past the Champions Leage group stages. Most of the SPL teams would be Div 2 in England. Ha Division 1 yes, Division 2, maybe the bottom 1 or 2....

As much as I cringe re Celtic, this is the logical outcome given the percentage of games already played. Fair assumption on the outcome but why the 'cringe factor' regarding Celtic? This club has deep Irish Catholic roots but have always been open to employ not only Catholics, but Protestants, Musl...

Either a season is finished or it isn't? Until something is mathmatically certain then you can't award a winner. 2019/20 SPL Winner - seltic* If clubs and associations agree otherwise you can. If they decide to finish the season now, it's legal and that's it. May not seem right and will give people...

Re: Season 2020

If a full season can't be completed then it has to be equitable. Imagine being relegated because you had to play Downs and Brahma twice and the team in 8th only played them once. Either a half season, or split the division in half at round 9 and then only play the teams in your half. That could mean...

Being a football family and all in these extraordinary times, the ffsa should generously donate their plastic pitches and other facilities for use for clubs that will lose their grounds to cricket & athletics. Can fit a good number of games per day on plastic. i'm sure modbury, modbury vista, metro ...

On his move to Blackpool, Dodds said: “It was a lovely sunny day and after the sooty streets of Sheffield I remember thinking it was like coming to paradise.” Wages for Footballers have certainly improved a lot since 1939, that's for certain. OM Not just wages that have changed, sheffield would now...

More sniping away there. No-one can take the title away from Liverpool because they don't have it. Facts are simole here. Liverpool almost definitely wouldn't be caught BUT mathematically they could be. Until that isn't the case then they don't deserve the title. If a game is abandoned after 80mins...
