Rangers - yeah, I'd prefer the champions league game then.

Actually, who are both teams playing in this final?
Millwall
Then the CL would be more enjoyable as I know he's not good enough for that level and Millwall should have an easier game :-)

Re: Awer Mabil's dream almost achieved

Does anyone actually have a childhood dream of playing in the champions league? I would think most young players today would, as it is now seen by many as the Premier level of International Club Football. I would think most people would dream of playing for their country, in a world cup, world cup ...

Wrong. Rangers are an English leaning club & Celtic an Irish leaning club.
A British club beat an Irish club.

Re: Maguire Axed from England Squad

The law needs to change and make it a punishment that fits the crime.

A forward can dive, risking at worse a booking. If he successfully cheats then the defender could be sent off.

Harsher punishments are the only way to stop it.

Pity he didn't stay axed. Cost us the game. He was rubbish and he took an horrendous touch, but there's something seriously wrong with the way fouls are being given in the modern game. I'm all for stopping the dangerous follow through when a tackler goes through the ball directly in line with the p...

Re: Maguire Axed from England Squad

Probably not, so whilst we don't know as we are not on the training ground, it's a fair conclusion to draw that the foreigners have taught those cheats to dive. love the contradiction....since you admit that you dont know whats happening on the training ground, it would be an UNFAIR conclusion to d...

Cracking draw with the All Blacks. Should have won it though - thickness of one post! Early days but younger team, new coach and Wallabies might be on the way up for a change. We'll see.

I'd say COULD HAVE won it, not SHOULD HAVE. Great performance by the aussies though, surprised me.

cause your assertion is inaccurate/wrong. weve already confirmed that English players were diving and subsequently getting a reputation in the First Division, prior to the ban on foreign players being lifted. This surely contradicts your statement that it was 'foreigners who taught them'... others ...

Footballers in...

Of course it is the aggregate of everyone. However, it is still a maximum wage as if you decide to play all amateurs bar one, that one person could only earn the salary cap. Thus, there would be a maximum wage. Very true. How many amateurs do you know that play for League 1 or 2 clubs? None, but th...

I see the clubs voted in favour of salary caps for season 20/21 . But the players union PFA is looking at a legal challenge . Let's hope the legal challenge is successful, England is not a communist country. Are salary caps basically equivalent of maximum wage? Uk had that - and it wasn’t communist...

Where is the pressure coming from? And of course there is a legal challenge, the players weren’t involved in discussions. The pressure is coming from the FA and EFL bosses/owners who have not had any cut to their own salaries. Where has your information come from that they have not taken any pay cu...
