Re: Catch up Games ?

With some leagues all wrapped up, which titles are yet to be decided and what catch up games need to be played??

I know Flinders have games in 4A,4B and Div 6 that would need to be played but only the 4A game means anything.

Thought answers?

What would you like to see in a football movie??

So how's about it we b itch and complain at some of the rubish football films we are offered up, but what exactly is missing from them?? What would you like to see in a football film? Would you like to see a film about the amateurs or the local leagues? Or does it have to be about the big time with ...

Re: New to coaching

Hey all, I've been asked to coach my div 4 amateur team this year... by default really because i've played there for a little while and we don't have a real coach! Just wondering if anyone knows of good free online resources or has some good tips? I realise you can't just become a coach by reading ...

Opposition Needed for Sat 7 Aug!!

Hi, Due to HAZARA pulling out of Div 4 Flinders are now looking for some oppsoition to play preferably at Flinders as we have some other home games that day. We are not too fussed about the standard of the opposition we would just like to keep our players playing. We are looking for two games if pos...

I hate it when this happens as there is no fair way to adjust the league tables!! I agree with you to a point. Unfortunately expunging results is really the only solution there is. Only to a point? :?: I am totaly with you I believe it is the only solution. Doesn't mean I have to like it though! :(

Re: Saturday Division 4B - Hazara

Official confirmation received from the SAASL today, Hazara have been removed from both competitions and all results expunged. Means that there is a tie at the top of Division 4A now between OISC (2) and RBE, and that there is a three point gap now between OISC (2) and Flinders (2) in Division 4B. ...

Re: Saturday Division 6 Predictions, Results, Thoughts, Rumo

Flinders 0 Breakers 0 We probably had more chances than Flinders. A good bunch of lads, the pitch was a bit heavy down one side but nice surface. A very good and fair ref for Flinders, well done. I thought it was a fair result and that the Breakers boys looked better than the position the table has...

Re: Saturday Division 4B - Hazara

I assume Strathalbyn informed the SAASL. From what I was informed, Strathalbyn travelled all the way to Woodville to find that Hazara never intended to play the reserve fixture. IMO Hazara should be immediately sanctioned and their reserve team thrown out/results expunged. When our 6th team played ...

Not what I meant. Old Ignatians (3) are following Hahndorf C2 in the league structure. Therefore when a team's As play Hahndorf C2, their Bs will play OISC (3). Use Round 4 as an example. Sat 4A, Hahndorf C2 host Flinders (2) Sat 4B, Old Ignatians (3) host Flinders (2). Sorry  Yes of course t...

It will mean teams will be sending their As to one ground and their Bs to another. Looking through it quickly it does not seem the case. Currently it seems that Flinders 2 & 3 play at home on the same day as their As. It also seems it is the same for Iggies, I understand though that altough Fli...

Sat Div 4B 2010 CHANGES!!

For those who don't know, the new fixtures for Sat Div4B are now up on the SAASL website. The old fixtures didn't give enough games to suit most teams in the division so both Flinders and Old Ignatians have now added an extra team to this divison. This means that instead of three teams having a &quo...

How did Handorf C's get into division five? Shouldn't that have gone to FC Adelaide? Wouldn't it make more sense to have them both in division four (first and reserves)?...
