Re: Rangers v Celtic

Gloating already and maybe putting the knife in. I actually rate Gerrard. Rangers look a better side under him. Neil Lennon reckons he'd have been sacked if he'd endured two trophy less seasons like Old Firm rival Steven Gerrard. The Rangers gaffer has failed to land silverware in his time in charg...

I'll answer then. I hate Celtic. Cheers  Too bad, you'll be hurting all the more when we get 10! :D You could win 50 in a row and still never make it past the Champions Leage group stages. Most of the SPL teams would be Div 2 in England. Ha Division 1 yes, Division 2, maybe the bottom 1 or 2....

Re: Rangers v Celtic

Either finish the season or void the season, with the caveat that mathematical certainties are allowed for. It's the only fair way to conclude things, this WPPG or PPG doesn't take account of who you've got to play and it's a mathematically flawed model. Read Martin Samuel's explanation and you'll u...

As much as I cringe re Celtic, this is the logical outcome given the percentage of games already played.
 You're only getting that in now so that we can't accuse you of hypocrisy when they gift Liverpool the EPL title ;-)

Re: VAR, yet again

More confusion at Old Trafford, Fred drives into the box, falls over and Mike Dean books him for diving. VAR looks at it and backs up the referee, yet when they show the replay on the TV, there is clearly contact between the defender and Fred's leg (whether enough to fell him is debatable) and it ha...

United benefitting greatly from VAR yet again, that was a really poor decision to deny Everton a winner. Even if they (wrongly IMO) decide that Sigurdsson was affecting the outcome, Wan Bissaka absolutely flattened Gylfi with a late challenge seconds before. How is that not a foul? It would have be...

No evidence of racism found in the spurs v chelsea game. That's 2 games now that have been stopped in England for "abuse" and both have found no evidence of it happening. So either, it's all been covered up or people are lying to get breaks in games, other clubs in trouble etc. They might not be ly...

Re: VAR, yet again

Yet another opportunity for VAR to tie itself in knots. In the Burnley v Bournemouth game a Cherries defender handled the ball in his own box and they then went up the other end and scored. The goal was chalked off by VAR for a handball in the build up and, in this instance, correctly gave a penalty...
