Re: Messi scores 86 goals in a calendar year

So, you're excluding any player born in the late 1910's, early 1920's. There was 12 years without a World Cup. I can't name you any players from that time period, but it doesn't matter because they didn't play in a world cup, ergo they can't be the best ever player  And, given only 19 World Cu...

Re: Messi scores 86 goals in a calendar year

He scores at will in a league where Ronaldo does similarly. I love this "best ever" tag from people who probably havent even seen players from the 60's or 70's. Oh, please tell me how many Napoli games you watched in the 80's, and how many Santos games you watched in the 60's. What if he ...

Obviously I can't prove that I didn't bet anything on it, so you can either choose to believe me, or think I'm a liar and lost some money.

Yeah.....you'd think if Samaras was to leave Celtic, he would do so for a BIG club..... Of course, why would anyone resist challenges with big games against Dundee and Ross County when you could try your luck against the minnows of Chelsea, Manu and Man City? A little competition called the U...

They also assist the referee. have you seen one do that yet? They might be supposed to do that, but they're not. They are not meant to be seen. As they are located behind the goals (typically where supporter groups are) they are at much higher risk than other officials. As such, they only communica...

The less games in the competition, the more likely a lesser team is to win.

England won't be worrying for quite some time. Italy needs to catch up quite up quite a bit on their UEFA coefficient to go down to 3 CL places, although Germany will overtake them in the coming season.

Easy money on a bet this coming weekend

West Ham vs Liverpool

Double Chance: West Ham/Draw @ 1.53
or, Under 2.5 goals @ $1.72

Liverpool playing without Suarez due to suspension will be toothless up front.

Get your bets in early.

How many teams participate in the FA Cup? 758 that enter the tournament, the 124 that are in the First Round Proper, or the 84 that reach the 3rd round when every team is eligible to participate?

Re: Euro league

Technically 76/77 teams qualify for it now, but a lot of them get knocked out in pre-qualifying. I really have no idea how a 64 team group stage would go, though. 16x4 team groups with the top 2 qualifying for a Round of 32, with games being played on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights?
