You lost the vote. Clearly you don't have the influence you'd thought you had. Move on and embrace it or make a rebel league with JD and Grosso and whatever other intellectuals choose to come on board

Don't be precious. Why would it matter if English was my first language considering the English language is basically mish mash of other languages. Anyway, all of your racism aside, you have only mentioned two of your supposed 4 reasons. Why would the league care who wins trophies. Surely their only...

Don't sell the rest of the league short. There is a widespread problem of abusive behaviour, verbal and/or otherwise right across the league. Many comments have been made on this forum about supporters "giving as good as they get" and the like. Stop the abuse of players and officials from ...

Finally some good news. I know the SAASL has been sitting on $1mil or whatever it is. To be honest 20 years ago that was a lot of money, today however that is not a huge amount. Perhaps they could use it (along with a govt grant) to upgrade Grange and make a fantastic facility for football which cou...

Looks like the crazy money being thrown around is starting to catch up with the first dig clubs.
It's time all clubs came together and made a stand. You are Sunday social clubs ffs.
It won't happen because everyone wants to be a big fish in a small pond.

Until the FFSA and SAASL become one, this crap will always go on. Neither league officially recognises the other.
You should only be able to be registered to one team at a time.
The SAASL is a shambles letting players with severe suspensions register and play while suspended with the FFSA

Another week and talk of playing suspended players and a game being called off due to violence again. This is a club that has been I the league for 40 years.
On that note, what was done to prevent what happened last week happen again this week. Absolutely nothing. The league is a shambles

Is SAASL a shambles
Teams playing Fed players. Brawls and games being called off. Teams dropping out and leagues not having enough teams.
Is the league a shambles in it's current format. I know I will get hounded for this but I think without significant change the SAASL may be doomed in years to come

Good old clubs are folding and are slowly being replaced by clubs that just seem to want a fight. The Amateur league is in turmoil. More importantly is the ongoing debate about SAASL being as good if not better than FFSA.
Robbie McDonald is a great bloke but struggled to kick goals consistently in the Feds.
Having kicked 24 so far pretty much ends the debate for me

Sounds more like sour grapes then roses.
Who cares whether its long ball or Tika taka or technical.
I think it morphs into what ever it needs to, to win a match.
It's amateurs, lets be honest, three passes and we should all be applauding
