Re: Cove U15 Vacancies
I believe that they scored 23 goals in the cup as well? 79 in season + 23 in cup is the same as 102 goals for the squad?

The JPL team scored over 100 goals so I presume that one, but get in contact with Mark about it as he's a good bloke.

The Cove FC is $890 for U12+
SA Panthers FC is $935 for U12-U15s
I guess that those other clubs you mentioned have higher costs?

Re: Junior fees.
Too expensive most of the coaches are volunteers something needs to be done otherwise we are going to loose so many kids. Junior fees issue is easily fixed. Join a Club. Attend the AGM, Read the financial report. Work out where expenses can be cut in order to minimise fees. Volunteer your time and ...

Re: Junior fees.
I'd say most juniors are around the $900 mark with miniroos closer to the $500 mark.
Not sure what reason a club would to have to charge more than that unless they are employing coaches, most seem to be volunteers.

Re: playing up a year level
I have a number of kids playing up between 1 and 2 age groups, it's always been a decision made between the player, their family and the coaches. It can be extremely beneficial but communication is required as the player may find themselves out of their depth and their enjoyment will suffer and so w...

AUFC 1 - 2 SFC
Good entertaining game. Ref tried to be Ben Williams and pretty much succeeded. Girls should be bloody proud of that performance after they realised that SFC were nothing to fear. Bubs is a bottle of shiraz legend, love the passion she plays with and forces on the rest of the team. Who was 24? I did...

Re: Lady reds
Once again at the game, excellent game over all by our women. They have finally started to bed down the game that Ross has wanted them playing. Our defenders (other than 1 mistake that led to a goal) were brilliant. Bubs is in another level with her direction of her team, her reactions and her distr...

Re: Round 2 - Lady Reds vs Victory
Interesting game, it was a good experience for our younger players to see that a clothesline in the box is fair contact but using shoulder to shoulder body strength to allow your keeper to cleanly secure the ball is a penalty

Just unfortunate that we weren't able to take advantage of two earlier chances on an open net, very impressed they almost took the result away from home and creating the better chances.
Now I hope they are able to replicate it next week at home

All good Princess Shame you didn't get to watch any WA games last season as they were very enjoyable (even when the team you were supporting got hammered :/).
I'm looking forward to this W League season so much, especially since there will be games much, much, much closer to me haha

Re: Adelaide United W-League v SA NTC
I think we know Ross' game plan pretty well, he is just going to re do what he did with WA. The issue here is going to be how much training they can do together. It is nice that they are actually in the same state together before the first match of the season though.
