Re: Lady Reds v. Newcastle
I hope we can make it to third so we have a chance to make the Grand Final! The girls have had a great season and a finals berth would be excellent. Semi's are 3rd vs 2nd and 4th vs 1st

Good to see all the Prems clubs in this league for 2016 and committing to the new standards/requirements, looking forward to catching some of the Friday night double headers! Hopefully will also allow for us to talk about these games more on this forum week to week in the hope that more people can g...

Re: Lady Reds Coach To Quit
What is being proposed is actually for the clubs to rotate managing the canteen on those nights and taking the revenue, I believe it is still just a proposal that FFSA are trying to get approval for. Friday nights would have its drawbacks sure, but does open up the game for a lot more people to go a...

Re: Results May 10th - HAPPY MOTHERS DAY
I think that's due to their being more then one incident, after the game was abandoned then there was more pushing and lots of people involved including supporters.

Re: Results May 10th - HAPPY MOTHERS DAY
The only Inter supporters on the pitch before the game was abandoned were the 2 ground marshalls. There was lots of pushing and shoving between players near Grove's sideline that seemed to calm down then started up again, then game was called abandoned. There was no pitch invasion, from any supporte...

Premier League kicks off this Sunday at The Parks
Looks like a good day at the Parks Sunday to watch Prems and Reserves games throughout the day, some good match ups and reserves at 11am and 3pm. Don't know how to put the URL in correctly but the fixtures are all up on Foxsportspulse. ************************************************* Monday 16 Marc...

Re: Cup Round 6th July div 4/5 collegiate ?
Please forgive my intrusion, I only coached a women's team for one season about 20 years ago, but I found it a very rewarding coaching experience. One point stated twice and ignored by later replies was that CWL sides want to play against their traditional rivals. If you split them all into differe...

Re: Cup Round 6th July div 4/5 collegiate ?
Interesting points. Didn't misunderstand, maybe didn't make it clear enough, half the teams have been created because Collegiate League exists. Yes they could disperse amongst divisions for possibly more even competition but as a guess you'd lose half the teams as soon as that occurred A large part...

Re: Cup Round 6th July div 4/5 collegiate ?
Seems like The General has opened up an interesting debate. I dont know how long the Collegiate League has been going, and one can only admire the passion some of you have to have a more even Collegiate competition. Looking back at the last 3 seasons same 3/4 teams are on top each year, you would im...

Re: Cup Round 6th July div 4/5 collegiate ?
Yeah I think thats the problem that there isnt enough teams in it to be able to have divisions, and i dont feel thats likely to change. Surely travelling 20-30 mins (i know its further for some clubs) to get a decent good standard game is worth it, and the collegiate teams being divided up into the ...

Re: Cup Round 6th July div 4/5 collegiate ?
Agree with you General. I don't understand the benefit of having the colleagiate league. Some of those teams must get smashed badly when they could be competitive in Division 4 or 5. And as you said the better teams could easily play Division 2 or 1, which would surely help their development and be ...

Re: SA Women's Football Survey RE-FFSA "Motion Of No Confide
So anyone can fill the survey out as many times as they like? What if someone who thinks FFSA is doing a great job completes it 100 times how will that effect your motion? And you don't think its necessary to capture if people are involved with Juniors, Prems, or Social? But important to know if the...
