Give the guy a break. Rooney done the same for Man utd a week back and nobody battered an eyelid. Terry played just as important part in Chelsea's Europa cup run as Rooney did in man utd premiership campaign. He held the trophy because he is officially club captain. I would have liked to have seen w...

the truth is that it was actually evertons ground 1st but its amazing around anfield how many houses are boarded up, very deserted n slummy When we went there in 2010 one side of anfield was backed right up against boarded up terrace housing. Re: England - Championship Time ! (formerly Division One)

Anyone just see the hull v Cardiff game? Hull 2-1 up and promoted and then got a penalty in the 90 min. Cue a pitch invasion and when hull finally got to take the penalty they missed, only for Cardiff to go up the other end and get a penalty of their own which was converted. Finished 2-2 and waiting...

Re: Liverpool reject Fair Play route into Europa League

This on espn. Brendan Rodgers insists Liverpool would accept a place in Europe via the fair play standings, despite suggesting that the club could do without it. Rodgers' side are second behind Arsenal in the standings ahead of Sunday's Merseyside derby clash with Everton at Anfield. UEFA grants a p...

I was just thinking the same thing. I want to tape my boy play so I can go over some key points with him after the game, but didn't know if I was allowed. He is 15 but playing 18's so not sure on how that works.

Cant believe people are actually trying to compare a studs up tackle with biting someone.........Clueless. They are both offences that happen/happened on a football field - you do understand this part? How many games is Ivanovic likely to miss after suffering such a terrible injury? And I dont thin...

Re: Could Liverpool trip to Oz be cancelled??

I faintly remember a team not wanting to qualify through the fair play due to an interrupted pre season a few years back (perhaps Fulham) but do clubs have a choice? How do EUFA look apon a club who would not want entry? Can you 'pass it on' to another club who would want it?

Could Liverpool trip to Oz be cancelled??

UEFA will offer a place in next season's Europa League competition to the top ranking club from each of the top three fairest European leagues. England are currently fourth behind Norway, Sweden and Finland in the overall rankings, but have a month to make up the difference. Liverpool are second beh...

Repeat offence means harsher punishment
Totally agree. There is no way the English FA could give less than their Dutch counterparts for the same offence.

I don't think after all what has gone before you can book a player for diving unless you are 100% sure he did. That was the biggest joke in the match. The offside was that quick the linesman can be forgiven. Our biggest problem was giving utd a 2 goal lead so quickly. Luiz was crap for the first 20 ...

I can't see youngsters holding clubs to ransom. What do they ask for? Give me this, this and that or I'm going across the road?? anyone know the result for cobras vs playford? 2-2 Cobras up 2-0 in the first 20 minutes and looked like they were going to run away it. Well chelsea could actually be the home team in this game if they win the coin toss to decide who wears what shirts/changerooms Imagine chelsea have the home changerooms and bayern is stuck in the away changerooms at the Alianz There isn't a coin toss to decide home team. From the UEFA CL rules Final 7.13 The final is played as one single match at a neutral venue. If the result stands as a draw at the end of normal playing time, extra time of two periods of 15 minutes is played. If one of the teams scores more goals than the other during extra time, that team is dec...

I read that the small group was booed by both sets of supporters after, not just spurs.
I couldn't make out what they were singing and was unsure who was making the noise.
Did anyone else think the ref cut the minute short because of it?
