Re: English FA proposal for unlimited rolling subs approved
Yeah fair point Trevor - would hope ref's would be awake to this and add time accordingly. Think ARL have a limit on number of interchanges so could be an option. I would hope a majority of teams would be ok, but it just takes a few to abuse it and everyone to crack a tanty. There isn't a lot of ro...

Re: English FA proposal for unlimited rolling subs approved
Rolling subs may be abused with teams making a sub at each stoppage in the final minutes to delay play. How about rolling subs, but limit to six changes per match, for example?
Does the above happen with the C team divs and over 35s?

pitbulls Bs 1-0 one tree hill Bs must say the game was an absolute disgrace. its a shame an official ref cant ref games like these. when a player gets hacked down from behind in the box infront of goal not only should it be a penalty, but its a straight red. so i find it amazing that a ref can blow...

wrong decision (assuming the second foul was actually a foul) player continued with advantage and gained one from doing so and was then fouled Correct. Direction to match officials is to "penalize the more serious offence if more than one offence happens at the same time" ie, foul outside...

I'm on this forum as an individual. I don't represent the club I play for on this forum. If my club has something to say they, then they do as an entity. Smart move SportingCP. Unfortunately, same cant be said for OTH. I wonder what OTH's official response to the pitch safety question is. Oh, it se...

If you mean that the comp is minus the 'feralness' of some of our northern suburb friends , then you're spot on :D You know what, with the issues we already have in this comp, we are trying realy hard to keep players, not only at our clubs but keep them in the game..........and you come up with a c...

Didn't realise you play in the premier league. To put it plain and simple. There are 2 goals at either end, 2 teams of 11 guys who want to play football. We may not be blessed to play on a pitch as special as the one the amateur league give you my friend but all we want to do is play football. When...

Is there any rule about how flat a pitch can be? Is there any rule also on the distance the sidelines have to be from the Penalty box? Re: Home team referees
I can't see why the League appointed referee cannot do the reserves game as well as the A team? Because reffing one game is hard enough, physically as well as the demands on concentration levels. You are asking for a ref to be fresher officiating a reserve fixture and then after that go on to do a ...

I referee some of our games on occasion (Sat Div 4B and Sunday Womens Collegiate League). I take the role of refereeing seriously, and do not want to be seen to be biased towards my own team in any way. If anything, this makes me favor the away team slightly, and not giving some calls to the home (...

Colour Clash rules - all competitions
I've posted this here as it applies to all competitions one would think. SAASL - socks and shirts must be different, home team changes if a clash. Shorts should be different as per bylaws, but league is happy to ignore shorts as long as socks and shirts are dissimilar. FFSA - what is the rule? (FYI ...

Re: OFFICIAL REFS FOR ALL SAT & SUN PREMIER RESERVE FIXTURES
To me this depends on how much space is available. eg. at jets there is plenty of space for the A grade team to warm up with the game still continuing. At Hahndorf (or iggies if all teams and aussie rules are at home) then there isn't. If there's space then let the game finish at it's natural concl...

Parking is a nightmare, the closest most of us could get was on MacKinnon Pde, East of Frome R...
