Re: Stingrays
Foxy, I think you're confusing them with the Mantarays in Div 5 - or Fantarays - cos their orange.
Mantarays are averaging about 7 goals conceded per game - and they've actually won a game. Good on them!

Probably a bit like when Angkor beat Parafield 24-0. When you bend down to tie up your shoe laces or go off and take a piss - you miss three goals

I have absolutely no gripe with the Bhutanese lads whatsoever, and very much enjoyed the games against them. Football is about inclusion, and the Gardens should be applauded for facilitating such a noble endeavor. My dig was at the fact we appear to be the only side who have played the Gardens Sund...

It will depend on what happens with Div 1 and 2 because there was talk of the Amateur League offer spots to FFSA teams.
Hazara finished fourth in Div 4 last year and were invited up to Div 3 because USC Lion dropped from 2 to 6 then to 4, I recall.

I'm confident that Flinders 2 will not be promoted given that their Div 3 side need to win its last two games and rely on other results to be promoted to Div 2, and they have said before that they don't want two teams in the same division. could go down to the last round!!!! Pity the league couldn't...

Uni B went down 2-3 to Pitbulls earlier this arvo. Good, competitive game. Feel that we were unlucky to not grab something from the game, but to come back like that from 3-0 was heartening, especially after their freak of a 3rd goal (hanger that caught me out of position and sailed over my head int...

Not sure if this season is different to last season. But last season one tree hill only had one side and we played in div 6 If you look on the website you will see that the teams you played last year are Div 5, so you can conclude that the 2011 Div 6 is the 2012 Div 5. I don't know why the C team D...

Playing under lights might be fun, it might need to be done for catch up games, but the fixture schedule should not be rearranged to suit one club because they don't have enough pitches. One kid who was due to play on Friday night lives in Kapunda and won't get home before midnight I would imagine....

Here's an idea. All clubs that forfeit are banned from the cup for the following year. The league would then know how many cup rounds would be needed the following year before the next season's league and cup schedule is planned. eg 32 teams in the cup draw = 5 cup rounds needed to be schedulled fo...
