Re: Saturday Division 4 League Table & Results *Updated Week

That's 3 weeks now Gardens have either postponed or forfeited. Last 2 weeks were postponed because of tournament in Queensland so why the forfeit this week? I would say pretty unfair for Flinders in regards to goal difference. We have Gardens next week and will be livid if they forfeit as our goal ...

If someone threw enough money at SAASRA for on shirt sponsorship, they would go with whatever colour the person paying the money wants. Someone on here suggested pink?

USC Lion had a young lad playing in the reserves. First game in two year apparently. Scored all five goals. Go figure. Maybe if he was playing A's they would've got a point or won  Don't worry, the lad will go back to his under 19s team this week assuming FFSA doesn't cancel because of pitch ...

I don't believe that they are the amateur league by-laws as you stated previously. You're right, I did give that impression, and they are not in there. Re: Rules regarding referees kit/team kit

We had taken a navy blue kit up there as the away team, and Mount Compass, for their Div 4A side, had (I think) a dark orange kit. If you think there will be a problem with colour clashes between teams, ring the club and discuss before the match. As a courtesy you decided to bring a navy kit, leave...

Re: Rain Affected Pitches

Should there be a bylaw that if a pitch is unplayable in the first half of the season, the reverse fixture is played? (Ie. Yes Swannsong it would still apply. It is just the kind of disciplined upbringing I had in my early years with the amateur league, and in life in general. There is usually provocation before retaliation in most cases, not just in sport, because both are classed as offences, you take the punishment ...

Heard the flinders ref in the b's had a shocker He probably didnt have his best game but is usually reliable. Another query for you folk... If, during a C or E team fixture (i.e. an 11.30 timeslot), whether or not the subsequent matches consist of the same two clubs, any one of the following situations occur: A) a player is red carded (say, for an offence involving opposition player(s) i.e violent conduct) ...

I think it would be much easier if you just avoided getting sent off in the first place. If I was the A's coach, and you were A's player that was sent off while playing for the B side, I would suspend you, end of story. What if there was a scenario where a home team's Club referee sent off one of y...

And the other thing...I wouldn't do 1st vs 2nd but 1st vs 6th otherwise for a strong team is better to finish 3rd than 1st! Don't agree with this part. If you finish top two you have earned the right to a double chance. How often in the old AFL days did we see the 8th team beat the 1st team in the ...
