Re: Lady Reds Coach To Quit
NTC girls did play very well. The front 3 combined really well, and there movement off the ball was exceptional. I am very glad and sincere the team did very well. It is what we would like to see. However, it does not mean these players will get the opportunity to play for the lady reds under RA in...

Re: Lady Reds Coach To Quit
The ntc girls actually have a monthly program as to when trainings are and where. Also the ntc girls are training 3 times a week plus another day for strength and conditioning plus an individual home session so that makes it 5 sessions plus game day so work it out. Also they played fantastic on Sun...

Re: Lady Reds Coach To Quit
There are many and varied reasons why some high quality local players (who are in many people's opinions good enough for "W League") don't get selected. Sometimes they are not interested as some other people have said, sometimes timing and circumstances conspire against them, etc, etc. Ma...

Re: JPL & JSL FIXTURES 2015
I agree, I need a lot more then 9 days to work out where I'm going to drive to If you're a coach you have to consider how you get 15 parents to take their Sons on a 60 minute drive across town for 6:30 on a Wednesday night, so yes, a bit of notice is welcome. But you can't work on the draft fixture...

No, i am not interested in Victorian League. I know google and Facebook, but cant find anything usefull. You have no sites for news about the teams, about injured players, new bought players etc.? We are in Adelaide, 2000km away It's like asking you if you lived in Munich, do you have information o...

Re: Lady Reds Coach To Quit
Hey socca, Adelaide United didn't just dump lady reds. The lady reds were not viable or successful at the time. Adelaide United were unable to sustain both AU and especially the Lady Reds. To AU credit, they agreed to continue to support the FFSA by subsidising the Lady Reds. In case your not sure ...

Re: Lady Reds Coach To Quit
Hopefully, these issues will improve immensely once the Lady Reds are under the umbrella of Adelaide United. The FFA are in the process of incorporating all W League Clubs in Australia to be in partnership with the Men's A league by 2017. This is a significant move forward and a fantastic idea for ...

Re: Birth certificates, Proof of age
It has to be someone on matchday so if it is not the Refs then who? Maybe the opposing managers could check the card against the team sheet  Why is that so funny? Each club has a team manager, that was always how it was done in my juniors. Then in another league, you lined up and handed your c...

A document displaying DOB should be a compulsory requirement allowing clubs to check. Re: Move Juniors season forward one month or weeks
Adding cancelled winter games and training just bolsters the argument. All football grounds get waterlogged in winter and games/training get cancelled. No clubs' facilities in SA are good enough to cope with the bad weather. I'm proposing the schedule change to mitigate (minimise) the effects of th...

Re: Move Juniors season forward one month or weeks
There are too many training sessions and games cancelled in February. This happens every year in Adelaide. It is pointless training or playing in February. Combined with the number of games and training cancelled in winter it becomes an absolutely wasteful season. Players do not get enough training...

Re: Move Juniors season forward one month or weeks
The season in my description includes all training and trial games, since for U11 and below, they're all games for no points. As opposed to U12+ who play for points. So has it started for both age groups you're referring too ? Or only the 'points' age groups Only 2 weeks ago, everyone was complaini...

Re: Move Juniors season forward one month or weeks
All games cancelled, 40 degrees Sunday. Horrible start to the Juniors season. I'm sure the Bureau of Meteorology records for South Australia(SA) for February would confirm that it is always too hot to play football. With the FFSA hot weather policy (>35 degrees) it will always be difficult to play ...

Re: Birth certificates, Proof of age
I'm referring to proof that documents are genuine and legally valid, not just the date as printed on the document. Especially for overseas born players. How would FFSA check something if it doesn't exist ? Surely the club and it's official delegates should be able and trustworthy enough to check th...
