that’s not a rule, or at least it isnt shown as one in the operating instructions.geoff9559 wrote:I thought that the cup semi-final round you couldnt play a player who hasnt played in either the quarter finals or prior rounds. Note that a few clubs did today.

Re: Need for more game play
I think at junior level, say from U10's, there is a need for more game play, the kids are training hard but just get at most maybe 30 minutes of play on a Sunday. They don’t get to really put in play what they learn at training, they need more game time, it doesn’t have to be structured, just play ...

I watched an U18 game on the weekend. The standard was really poor and the players very young. Players pushed way too quickly in my opinion.Spana100 wrote:Its like watching U15's!!!!!

Thanks. No Adelaide Uni U16 JPL team. They were in the jpl draft. Did not hear rumours that they may withdraw. If you have access can you check to see if they went into the u16 jsl group. no Uni in the U16JSL. FFSA said a couple of teams withdrew from the U16JPL league which resulted in the two ...

So anyone know when clubs had to finalize their JSL team submissions and when they intend to release the league details? submission is tomorrow. I would probably allow one week for draft then a couple of weeks for the final structure. Fixtures will probably be out in the last week of Feb.

I see Blue Eagles U14's have been moved from JPLB to JPLC despite finish mid-table last year.

From what I seen on another post, it seems that West Adelaide u16 team finally has been put into the C Div.
From u12 the team has struggled and maybe have lost every excuse in the book to finally be put in the div they should have been in from the start.

Re: Junior League Structures
Fair few u17 teams this year. Wonder if the quality will improve. I saw 3 half games of u17 in 2018 and they were not a particularly high standard. 18’s is not for everyone, some players want to go down the amateur path. I know lots of our 17’s turned down 18’s as they didn’t want the additional ...
