Re: AUFC - W season 2021-2022

I only watched the second half and I thought the american centre back No4 and the GK for AU played well but most of the others players tried to rush things forward to options that weren't on or to no option especially when there seemed to be better options. AU tried hard but they made the job harder...

Re: EPL 20/21

Leeds were poor in the first half (but in saying that Bamford had 2 very good chances in the first half that he stuffed up)and made less mistakes in the second half.

Leicester defender well in numbers waiting for Leeds to make mistakes which they did and Leicester counter attacked beautifully.

Two interesting matches last Friday fortnight, West Adelaide women seem to have caught the same virus that affects the mens team where they have so much promise but fall away at critical times. A teenager has been banned 12 games for racially abusing an opponent in a junior soccer match – with the victim also copping a suspension for his response to the slur.

What is going on out there?

Leeds made 7 changes to the starting line up overnight against Derby and that seemed to freshen up the team. 3-1 win against Derby was fair enough. In a year when there has been the passing of 3 Leeds legends - (Trevor Cherry, Norman Hunter and Jack Charlton)it's fantastic that Leeds have won the le...

Leeds were very lucky to get a win against Barnsley. Barnsley had the better chances, they played better and fought harder to get a result but in saying that I think Bamford should have been awarded a penalty late in the game that could have made it 2-0. Leeds looked tired and I think injuries are s...

Back in the EPL. on the back of WBA losing overnight to Huddersfield. Now the trick is to stay there. From my experience heading hardly happens ever in Under 12 and below games, so I dont see a need to worry.

I dont think it happens that much at senior levels these days for a variety of reasons.
