Re: Sam Kerr - charges
What about stopping real crime instead of this petty insignificant rubbish. Wasting Police, legal system and media resources is such a waste of people's time and extremely costly. real crime, like BLM protests, locking people in houses during covid lockdowns??? Clearly you live for online debate si...

Re: Sam Kerr - charges
"stupid white bas.tard" is what she called the copper. Incredible storm in teacup. I hear 10x worse every week walking down the street in Adelaide. So she is a RACIST? Can you imagine if she was on the receiving end? Media would of had a frenzy. Let the courts decide the outcome, until th...

Re: Croydon
Would a third division have been better than a second division reserves? Adding the reserves was supposed to make the jump to WNPL easier for the club that gets promoted, rather than having to come up with a new team when they get promoted. Good in theory but it will probably be a glorified U17s le...

Re: Croydon
the creation of the reserves league was a good idea in principle but i think the federation assumed that there would be a massive surge of female players interested in playing, this hasn't happened and the talent pool is very thin, this is why we are now seeing clubs using 13/14yr olds for senior f...

Re: Croydon
Absolute mismatch in Croydon’s last 2 games in the State league. They lost to South Adelaide 22-0 then 25-0 to Elizabeth grove. Versus the grove they only started with 10 players and to start the second half they had 9 players. If the Football federation had a heart they would or could put them in ...

Re: Adelaide Utd 2022-23 a season to forget
Stenta building some record here but still AU hierarchy appears not concerned Unfortunately 2023-24 is becoming a season to forget like our previous now we are anchored to the bottom of the table & I'm left wondering where our next win is going to be. Meanwhile Stenta like an 'immovable object'...

Re: AWARDS NIGHT
You would’ve thought Lastella was a standout and clear winner. If not him, Scalzi or Monsigneur won all the trophies between them. Goddard did a good job with birks. Team of the year had a couple interesting selections too. Good questions for the coaches in the league, given those awards voted for ...

Given Comets and Inter have two visa players already I'm going to assume that was City and probably Birkalla.
No problem with her going for the most money, as long as she admits it.

Re: WNPL / WSL Cup
Will there be any forfeits this round? Nice easy run into the quarter finals for Birks! What a disgrace. How can a club like Adelaide City forfeit this match at Senior level (even if its their Reserves)? How can they not field a team, they are one of the most if not the most successful clubs in thi...

Re: What happened to this Forum.....?
I think you'll find a lot of people that used to post on here probably aren't involved with amateur sides anymore, and a lot of the current playing crop probably don't even know this forum exists. Also, we don't get scores 3 business days later anymore  which means they dont need to be posted h...

Re: WNPL / WSL Cup
What's the thoughts of those out there of Reserves competing in the Cup against WNPL and WSL 1st Teams? There should've been seeding in this first round so reserves sides didn't meet WNPL teams until Round 2. This is what effectively happens in the Men's Fed Cup. Also surely by now the State League...

2016 - England didn't cause any trouble. You can whinge all you like but are world cups and euros the same thing? Yes they are, they're international tournaments. I'm not sure what description you give them. Two English fans were given 3 month prison sentences and 2 years bans in France. UEFA subse...

The no beer policy helped England's reputation at the WC as the hooligans didn't show. Is this the first WC where they haven't caused trouble. ;-) We didn't cause trouble at the last world cup or the one before that. I'd say "82 was the last world cup where we did. They were reasonably ...

Arnie has no idea. No disrespect to Kuol or Cummings, but he subbed on two blokes who have 2 caps between them. And if Volpato was on the bench he would've brought him on too. Yet in all his interviews he bangs on about mateship, the long journey of the qualifiers together, rewarding past performanc...

Arnold spoke the other week about how the French squad have been playing 2-3 games a week and would be feeling smashed whereas the Australian players having played once a week recently will be fresh and able to go for it. Saw the complete opposite. And I'm shocked that he would make such a simplisti...

Re: MA Hawks Football Club left in limbo over proposed Thebarton Oval lease
“On a home game we can vary from 100 to 300 spectators.” From what I've seen, they have maybe 30 supporters, so they're relying on the away crowd to make up the other 70-270 for this to be true, and I don't think any Saturday Div 1 club brings 270, Pitbulls and Modbury leading the away crowd number...

Didn't that large pile of cash primarily exist to help lower the expenses to clubs and the regos to players? Why can't the same continue to occur, whereby the money is placed into a perpetual fund and a dividend each year is used to subsidise the SAASL clubs moving into new competitions perpetually....
