Re: Season 2020

Ok, so how many clubs have been set up (as in originated) and funded by women in the NPL? I'd suggest none. Yes plenty are involved, do great work in admin, running clubs and all sorts of duties needed to run clubs, but how many actually started up their own football club with all that goes with it...

Re: Under 14 Cup CC v NU

Winning by more than 20 goals is just rubbish, doesn't matter how hard they try and justify. Play your weaker players, especially up front, give them some game time, which they would appreciate and their parents. Its Junior football - put it into perspective. Use your big gun players in the finals,...

Re: Under 14 Cup CC v NU

But you accused a coach of disgusting behavior in the opening post, whereas at the least, having not attended, you simply didn't agree with possible certain "tactics". I'm sure they will get a harder game in the coming weeks in which their development can be better tested. Remember, cup competitions...

Re: Under 14 Cup CC v NU

Asking who for an explanation of what? What did the coach do wrong? An explanation of what he did in the game to help his players development. I imagine the Noarlunga coach would have said, I hope you all learned something today and reviewed some home truths and what areas they can work on. The bes...

I see Arsenal have made 55 low paid workers redundant to save £2m due to Covid -19 . Meanwhile bench warmer ( at best ) Ozil is paid £350k a week,
True? Not nice from a team that just lifted such a prestigious trophy.

Re: Under 14 Cup CC v NU

What is the point of winning by more than 20 goals? The coach could have played mainly the weaker players who tend to get less game time or played the defenders up front for a change, etc I guess you would have to be there to give proper comment, eg, what if he did rotate players, did try and let t...

Hmmm, Australians recently stated to be the most obese in the western world. Funny, wouldn't have thought witchety grubs, damper & billy tea were that fattening.
Sauce? I mean, source? ;-)

Would have thought the yanks had obesity sewn up.

Well I haven't seen you to be sure, BUT have you seen Warne lately? Hardly in the fat category. Unlike the average pom on his fish/chips/beer diet.

No biggie

Last two seasons with couple to play overall not bad:
W - 60
D - 10
L - 4

If we can average that out over next few seasons, it'll do me. ;-)

Very messy. The heavy reliance on Vic teams/infrastructure and their sense of ownership of the sport sure is under the microscope.

At least the NRL had some foresight. Bit of luck involved but their hubs made more sense.

The referee gave us a briefing before the game and told us he would make a number of mistakes - at least he got that right
Basically setting himself up for a dodgy game. What he should say is "I may not see everything (clearly)" - then fair enough.
