Know a wind up when you see one.
Surely you're not insinuating there are wind ups on this forum.

He's a fully fledged SAASL ref now so I guess he'll be doing other fixtures.

Re: Blatter moves the goal-posts (timing of World Cup)

So you don't think that the climate impacts on the discussion of whether Qatar should be hosting the 2022 WC at all? No I think the fact they have never qualified for the tournament should have been enough for fifa not to even consider their bid. Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates or Saudi Arabia on ...

If there are no rules to say the tournament is to be played in june then it is wrong to assume it will. Voters ought to have looked at climate and the like before casting their vote.

Re: Blatter moves the goal-posts (timing of World Cup)

It's supposedly the world game and different parts of the world have different climates. If you want to have your game open to everyone and play in different parts of the world you have to accept that it would be better to play in different parts of the year. I don't think that Qatar should have bee...

Re: Blatter moves the goal-posts (timing of World Cup)

A quick question. What league, if any plays during the world cup. Even a quick question deserves a question mark. Those leagues that usually run at that time of year work around the world cup when if comes about, which is my point, if they can do it there's no reason why others can't. Here's next y...

Leagues rearrange their seasons in world cup years regardless. 90%???? Don't kid yourself. What do you suggest? That every League is put on hold for two months majorly interrupting the season? Did I say every? I don't think so. Having said that, if the climate dictates it then so be it. Scandinavia...

Were they 'canned' as such? Or was it simply not held because the world was at war?
