a great rule forces for their to be a slightly more even spread of players across the board should see some busy times before the end of the window, with hopefully man city and the likes forced to sell some of their players to some of the clubs only just below them which will strengthen their chance...

betting agencies will half your winnings as it is on top goal scorer, not who takes home the golden boot. for your sake i hope muller and klose dont score one each, because then your winnings will divided four ways

Re: Hodgson to take reigns at Anfield!

i wary about the decision to sign hodgson, but i also think the hiring of a british manager may just be exactly what liverpool need. i think the foreign managers are often overhyped. in recent years no british managers have been given a job at the so called big four, except for ferguson who has been...

Re: The math for the remaining games

the math now looks like this, to get through we need to win and.... ghana beat germany ghana and germany draw and we win by 7 goals germany beat ghana by... 1 and we win by 4 2 and we win by 3 3 and we win by 2 4 and we win by 1 so essentially we have to make up five goals, so we are cheering for a ...

a win against ghana and a draw against serbia will be enough to get us through
germany are a class above all three other teams and will win all three

Re: The math for the remaining games

uneducated idiots!
we got through last time on 4pts
there have been plenty of times when teams have got through on 3pts
but realistically with this goal difference we need a ghana win and a serbia draw at least to get through

The math for the remaining games

Ok well this is what we are left with Lets assume that Germany win against Ghana and Serbia, if so...... We win against Ghana and lose to serbia.... All on 3 pts and comes down to goal difference. We draw with Ghana and win against Serbia... Us and Ghana on 4 pts and down to goal difference. We win ...

not sure of the actual stats, but wouldnt shearers goal scoring record at club level be quite a bit better? rooney's stats looks good because he started so young, but if you look at season averages, surely shearer would have a better record. like i said, havent checked the stats, and could very well...

of course we will go into the game against germany as underdogs, but i see no reason why we cant sneak a draw or even a win. although being outplayed for the majority of games against the so called power houses of the game in recent years, we have some pretty good results. in pim we have a manager w...

keeper wasnt actually even that far out, at the furthest on his penalty spot. much better than xabi's a few years back, and i think better than beckhams too. sorensen has every right to stand around his penalty spot acting as a second sweeper, was just a quality low driven shot that hit the back of ...
