Re: Croydon Polonia CSL Div2- players wanted
This is the amateur league forum, please take your collegiate league cabernet somewhere else. CSL is a amateur league that is affiliated with FFSA. Where does it say that this is a SAASL forum only? Can you please let me know who is allowed to post in the junior forum? Is it FFSA clubs, edjsa or ac...

Agree, anyway when god is an Englishman is good enough he can play for one of the collegiate teams, just jealous that your cabernet league is not allowed to play ffsa cup, until then shut it son played in it, but then got moved out of the C's and went up to the SAASL side. You're right I wish I cou...

Re: Croydon Polonia CSL Div2- players wanted
This forum is for the discussion of amateur league football. This is only one amateur league in Adelaide, the SA Amateur SL. This should be in the LOCAL Football forum. Like I said. If the forum was titled SAASL amateur league then I would support your comment. CSL is by far more amateur anyway. No...

Re: Where is SAASL heading..
I don't understand why the leagues can't work together. FFSA allow SAASL in under the umbrella but don't charge them anything. They allow SAASL to run it's own competition and complete autonomy. The membership becomes merely a figurehead membership. Everyone wins! So do you want them to work togeth...

Re: Where is SAASL heading..
Saasl fee of 37 does not include insurance. If you had 15 per team it works out as 67 Inc insurance per player If Gristy is correct then the dollar values match. Just about people now. Old crew won't move. The younger need to act. It will happen. All SAASL have to do is stand under the umbrella and...

Re: Promotion
Well else would Polonia players vote to switch leagues? I don't disagree with your comments, but the CSL is not run by the FFSA. It has its own Executive who do a really good job. When issues / problems present themselves there normally there is an equitable outcome. Perhaps they are after an easie...

Re: Where is SAASL heading..
Personally i think a club in the amateur league shouldn't pay anyone. The clue is in the name. However, if clubs want to them we live in a capitalist society so let them. Again I agree with GIAE. That is 2 now from all his posts. Going for a hat trick. My question is. When SAASL 1st started was the...

I hope Fulham continue in Div 1. Even though they might be under maned at least they will put up the fight.
We will see what happens I guess.

Re: FFSA V SAASL
very little difference between SAASL and Collegiate in SA in regards to costs.
I think overall we are pretty lucky whether you are with SAASL or CSL the costs of playing are not that high.
The clubs that charge more are often supplying the players with gear anyway.

Re: fulham rumours
Its either they have all gone across to the FFSA comp or players have left. If they have left I would think the main reason would be the following: The players want to stay as amateurs and no longer be involved with a competitive FFSA setup. They probably fear if they stay around they will be called...

Re: San Marco Football Club Div 2 Players wanted
The San Marco players that want to stick to Sunday could move down the road to Adelaide Blue Eagles.
They have a few options for Saturday teams in the area. As mentioned Rostrevor / Pumas + Norwood / Athelstone etc.

Re: San Marco Football Club Div 2 Players wanted
Sad top see San Marco drop out. It was only last year that they were celebrating 30 years. Looks like everyone celebrated and then thought that is it for me. Looking at the big picture I think many clubs will be going backwards in terms of numbers. Many clubs will be scaling back teams or even not f...

Re: PARAFIELD GARDENS SEASON 2016
Is it really appropriate for a SAASL committee member to be promoting a club. Doesn't show things will be impartial and will likely have bias towards one club? Or do people not really care? What do we need to care about exactly? What is concerning you so much? Surely you can be specific, please don...

Apparently you can send players from your fed team to your csl team and vise versa.....is that true or not?? And this is the main reason comets are going over from what I hear.... Re: Adelaide Comets Amateurs to CSL
Cost per player is $66.50 pa. What's SAASL? 37 FFSA rego is $62.00 / $4.50 is a CSL future fund. So the difference between FSFA and SAASL is $25 per player. FFSA clubs / players have access to all new facilities like Adelaide Shores etc. Registration through myfootball. Football Family member which...

Re: Question ?
The two associations do not communicate and work with each other. I think it would be best if players from FFSA were allowed to play in SAASL as long as they are playing under their real names. If guys want to play Saturday in the FFSA and Sunday in the SAASL then they should be allowed. That would ...
