Refs and Linesmen are all from the same country, no? They usually throw in another nationality as the fourth referee just for giggles. A lot of them speak another language, and considering English is relatively dominant (especially for a lot of aspiring footballers), that's also a common language. ...

I can't see why they don't just allow a few days break between the group stage and the finals, to account for any replays as required. I hope it's Mexico. With all the South American sides doing so well I wonder if Comnebol will be requesting more berths for the next tournament. Their humungous qualifying round will have two less games with Brazil not needing to qualify. Asia could lose a berth too.
