Re: Barnett

Lady Red Squad is crap compared to that of other teams. Has ever only had one good player in Alagich and on one leg she was by far the best. Most girls in this state play for fun so what chance has a coach got to compeat at national level with local playes. They have a team compeat in JPL boys unde...

Re: Under 9 looking for a team - northern suburbs

Yes Purger it was a good game, both teams with kids smiling and enjoying their football. Salisbury's coach is a real gentleman with the correct attitude for coaching young children. An absolute pleasure to play against and I look forward to many tight encounters against you guys. Your youngster loo...

Re: Under 9 looking for a team - northern suburbs

ZJ, from u/9 upward, EnD play on a full size pitch, SSF doesnt? am i correct?

by comparisons in mean not playing against each other, what i mean is just technical ability as up until about the age of 13, its all about skills aquasitions.

Re: Under 9 looking for a team - northern suburbs

Yes Purger, that is my U/9s that drew with Salisbury Utd. :D that was a good game, but salisbury and ingle farm seem to always play well against each other. you got 3 boys that show good signs, Amon, Amir? (no10) and the No9 blondie who scored the first goal. i like the way you coach, and there sho...

Re: Issues With Club Trials

I hate trials. My son's a keeper and very few trials for clubs see keepers really put through their paces. Add to that these youngsters are trying for only 1 spot per team. When they are being looked at, most coaches seem to line up their kids to take a variety of shots, but poor service can make g...

Issues With Club Trials

I disagree with this process.!! Here we have a situation where 12, 13 and 14y.o players are put into an environment where they need to be at a certain level to make a club team. This puts a great emphasis on winning and developement takes a back seat! When a player is in his late teens or early 20s,...
