Re: Head-shaking results

Noticed in the 14s 15s 16s
You'd expect big scores in 13s and under, but can't believe some "big teams " getting murdered.
Skillaroos are bottom of 15s and 16s, with some horrible drubbings without a point in either league.
A few other big teams copping it too.

Re: Poor State of Junior Football

From what I gather though the courses are designed to teach you how to communicate, not what to coach and coaching techniques. That might be wrong but it's what I was told. The community courses are useless, especially the game training certificate. You basically get to watch a bloke from the FFSA ...

Re: Poor State of Junior Football

Unfortunately some clubs have TDs whose ego is larger than their ability.
That is the club's fault.
In fact some TDs decision making is embarrassing.
God help the kids.

Re: SAP ?

not sure how we will ever compete on the world stage if only rich kids get a gig? my son plays with a couple of really good kids who could easily move up to SAP and that pathway through the junior ranks, they have the talent but you know their parents are already struggling to pay junior fees, so t...

Poor State of Junior Football

If the JPL is the benchmark of junior football in SA, then we may as well shut the doors and return the keys right now. Shocking first touch, can't play a decent pass over 10 yards, poor decision-making,no structure. And I'm not talking about the Under 12s. Some club technical directors should be arr...

Re: U16c Jpl

Maybe one kicked an own goal. Just have to say it is a credit to Olympic to be able to get enough players to play u16 this year and be competitive as they had no feeding from last years 15 as they didn’t have a team in that age group. Most clubs at that age are struggling to find players and they w...

Re: No Netherlands and no Italy

Current system is akin to fixing it so two thirds of the Olympic 100 metres finalists are made up of white & Asian people just to be representative. How cabernet would that be? A joke that a football backwater such as Australia can get in automatically via top two (not that they got in this way...

Re: Under 17s fees

At the club we are at the charges are $900 under12s-17s and 18s to seniors are $395 this was stipulated in our letter of offer in which we paid. i think it is only right the club refunds the difference. I am having a hard time getting our money back and my son is being now implicated and being benc...
