United68 - I really hope you're wrong as Strikers have been a good club over the years.....but can see that the Olympic project with West Lakes Shores Primary School has taken some of the talent pool away from Strikers and note that the FFSA are offering to assist with a Strikers School Holiday soc...

Pirates......and a ton of smaller amateur (single teams) that seem to be around.
Also would you consider Adelaide Cobras as their main ground is near the old Brick Works in the West.

Re: JPL team stripped of all competition points
I last night gave a lift to a player who had come out for a look/ trial at our club as he had a couple of friends there .. who told me his year of birth and also the age group (which was the age under) he had been playing in at a club last year .. he had gone to another club this year they found ou...

Re: Junior Fees
It seems that there's also an "Association" fee which is set for Premier and State League clubs to the FFSA. Its a set amount and would have to be apportioned over the number of teams a club fields. Not too sure how much it is, however it is a sizeable amount to the FFSA outside of the oth...

Re: Junior Fees
This is for all you parents that believe the clubs make squillions of dollars from your junior teams fees, this comment is not for all but for all those that complain about the fees, why not get down the ground and support your club, whether it be to buy a sausage and a beer on match days (would be...

Re: Junior Fees
If they are club delegates / registrars / junior coordinators (or similar) they may (ie should) do but not sure how many on here hold those roles and are sufficiently in the know, may be quicker and more effective to speak with a competitions coordinator at FFSA or someone at your own club who deal...

Re: unsporting behaviour
The cup threw up a big mismatch (weaker JSL against strong JPL team). I have heard from a parent that the scoreline was 20+. The strong team decided to play the last ten minutes with no goalkeeper. The goalkeeper scored sparking wild celebrations. Is this really how we should be teaching the kids t...

peaked caps................
Hi - I've looked through a few areas in these forums and couldnt find a thing about the wearing of peaked caps by the Goalkeeper. THere's nothing in the FFSA rules and regulations about peaked caps either. I happened to see a game where the goalkeeper's peaked cap was so long and so hard that he'd h...

Re: unsporting behaviour
JSL teams should either not enter the cup or have their own cup....simple JSL teams should not be in the cup..Then these pathetic results won't occur again. Jett - wasnt just JSL teams .....look at the U13s one JPL beat another by 18:1 and another match was 16:0....I dont think you can make blanket...

Re: Huge Scorelines
20+ goal margins can be avoided marty2323 and I bet you were on the right side of the ledger. Nobody gains from that kind of match despite you putting a gloss on it. To pretend that a team down 20-0 is not affected by the state of play is defying human nature. Sure kids need to handle winning and l...

Hi - just a quick reminder that Toros are seeking players, have excellent coaches and facilities at Pennington and Rushworth, and just require a few more players to complete these teams.
If at all interested then contact Mr Nenad Tadic (Sporting Director) on 0421 775 765
Cheers
