Re: Maiwand/ Seaford????
Considering Div 4 started with only 7 teams last season (before 2 more were kicked out) and I have heard Polonia were promoted to Div 3, how are the divisions being worked out for 2012?

Manchester Derby coverage
Did anyone else hear on the coverage during the second half, the commentator do a shout-out for a pub in Brisbane (the Pig n Whistle??) where both City and United supporters were watching the game?

Re: Balotelli Appreciation Thread
Another case of our modern society celebrating stupidity over genuine achievement. The bloke has achieved both  Plays in the EPL, for his country, yet takes the piss out of it instead of acting like a primadonna. We shouldn't take life that seriously, no one gets out alive anyway. I have to ag...

Re: Fight?
Does anyone know if the SAASL has done anything with this situation?
Has Maiwand been kicked out?
If so, it leaves a 5-team league in Division 4!

Not the first high profile sportsman/celebrity to have an affair, certainly won't be the last either. After the Tiger Woods story all these affair storys have become boring and tedious. Get a divorce and get on with life! From this point on, any high-profile sportsperson/celebrity caught having an ...

Re: OMG --- SAASL / BESA ISSUE... FRONT PAGE!
I'd think any team would rather play a Cup match against Gleeson than get a Bye. Surely we'd all prefer to play a game, not have a week off? I agree, but not the point. Gleeson were beaten and knocked out of the cup. END OF STORY! Completely agree GIAE. What would happen if (hypothetically) it was ...

I can understand his reasons for trying to cover it up (not from experience mind you) but it only makes the situation look worse. While John Terry is in the same boat and equally an asshole...at least he took it all on the chin. Why do English/British footballers have to be married and be considere...

Re: Bye bye Blackpool, Birmingham
While it is disappointing for most (and me) that Blackpool have been relegated, unfortunately the table doesn't lie after 38 games. After a positive start and some great one-off results throughout the season, they were too inconsistent which resulted in several runs of winless games. On the other ha...

Bloody BESA. How full of cabernet is this club? How could they possibly not know who did this? Are you telling me not one person associated with the club at the ground knew the supporters who were responsible? Please... Perhaps they are scared??? It appears that plenty of nutters support the club. ...

The comments to this story don't make pretty reading. The GAYFL troglodytes are having a field day sticking the boot into our game. I Posted this response but don't know if it will be deemed appropriate. "Such typical xenophobic responses to this story. The 'Sheilas, Wogs and Pooftas' mentalit...

Re: BESA SUPPORTERS SEND REFEREE TO HOSPITAL
BESA play in Div 4. There are currently only 7 teams in that league as it is because Gawler (I think) pulled out.
Given that another team in the league has already forfeited a game or 2 this season, that whole division could suffer!
I sincerely hope the referee makes a speedy recovery.
