Re: Challenge Cup

Normal cup, just new format where division 1&2 clubs sit out the early preliminary rounds Not a new format at all. Has been like this for the 10+ years I've been playing amateur football. Div 1 and 2 clubs never had their first cup game until after round 4 or 5 in the league. Don’t think the re...

Re: GHAN UNITED

If that’s true it’s time clubs came together and forfeited the game. They’ll soon get sick of not playing each week, and everyone else in SAASL know that whoever comes second would be the true winner. It’s nice and easy to sit here and whinge and moan that nothing is being done, take it into your ow...

Re: HJ TEMPLIN PRESEASON CUP 2021

They should receive a massive fine and that money should be used for security guards under the control of the SAASL for all their games. Deduct points and final warning plus bans for players and fans found guilty for in proper/violent conduct. If found guilty surely 1. $ 5000 fine with $5000 suspen...

interesting https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpspDK9ln20&feature=youtu.be Might be an unpopular opinion, but I’ve got no issue with it. First bloke was booked, decided to keep going. Second idiot was seemingly already on a yellow. He asked the three dismissed players and staff to leave the area,...

You are spot on about going around and watching coaches, that’s a great call. I’ve seen some horrific coaches this season and it has nothing to do with developing the players. We aren’t all the most amazing coaches ever, but some of these clowns are vicariously living through these kids and making t...

Should be 3 lots of 12 and the remainder (mainly the 'new' clubs) can play in the one team division. This is getting ridiculous (again!)
