Re: Prelim Cup Round
As Bill's email last night was quite ambiguous, am I right in thinking that only the Sunday games have been called off. Or are today's games off as well? When are these games being played?? Would think clubs have to play midweek?? we played ours the tuesday following to get it done and dusted, we h...

Re: Another cluster shiraz with the League.
So it looks like we have another situation where a team was promoted but dont have a reserve side. Saturday Div 3 again. The stupidity is laughable. Does the Saturday leagues have a division just for one team clubs this year? It doesn't look like it. If not, where should the league put them? They c...

Re: NEW SAASL Registration Process
The OTH guys need to call the league and check this. At the meeting last week, Alex and Bill explained that this process will not see the players actually registered. They are only processing the self-registered ones. As much as I'd love you guys to drop points, don't want to see you lose them in t...

Re: NEW SAASL Registration Process
I really think there needs to be an option for re-registration where the Club Admin can tick re-registering players onto the list and bulk pay the registration fee for those players. This new process for me personally has dragged the whole process out and created confusion..and stress. one tree hil...

Prelim Cup round for Div 3 teams and below Do we know if the round is needed this year? When does the draw occur? The 80 teams involved in Div 1-4 Sat/Sun have until 5PM Friday to withdraw. So you would think at 5PM the league would know if the pre-lim is needed, and then select/draw. But im sure y...

Re: NEW SAASL Registration Process
Sounds sensible. Players can't organise their own water for training or game day, sunscreen or tape for socks etc so chances of them registering themselves etc is a bit too much lol agree, but they dont make it easy. The letter talks about setting up an email address for each player when you regist...

Re: NEW SAASL Registration Process
Think it's terrible to implement it without consultation of clubs voted in at an AGM. They really need to look at how their junior counterpart operates and implement a council of clubs. We charge our players a fee that is set in October and some start paying then they fill out and register details w...
