Re: Dark Day for Vista
So it flows straight into saturday amateurs, have different requirements the higher you go, for example if you dont have the right facilities you're capped at SL2, or if you dont have 18's youre capped there, but at the moment SL2 dont have those so have all saturday clubs form on big comp? If SL2 ...

Probably be a draft calendar distributed at the SAASL AGM You'd think so. I've taken a stab, with Easter being weekend of April 20/21, that Round 1 will be on weekend of April 27/28 that's very late! I think we'll have two rounds before Easter You are more than likely right. I was thinking they'd h...

Re: Best of 3 AFL Grand Finals for a decider
Whilst you have uneven games (ie no home and away), there will always be conflict about who plays who & Anzac Day is a sell-out every year, why would they want to change that? But seriously, think about it - 3 GF's? Insane Since Anzac Day is a sell out, why not change the teams then? Collingwoo...

On the other side of the argument though, get rid of the Adelaide Cup holiday and give us Melbourne Cup off instead. Yesterday afternoon was a write off and can't see me achieving much today either.

All I can say is I hope its a Richmond v Melbourne grand final. Shapes up as the best of combinations in my book. Whereas I'd go a West Coast v Collingwood GF. Nah, Umpires would ensure a Collingwood win which would spoil it plus I don't rate West Coast that much (even we smacked them in Perth this...

This season (18/19) you'll be able to watch an Australian keeper that played in the Dutch top league last season.
Do you think he might be Conference standard?
(He signed from the A-League to the Premier League when he left in 2016)

So Matt Ryan and Mitch Langerak were bad buys from their overseas clubs? Who? Which clubs? Brighton (you know a team one division higher than Millwall, let alone Conference standard) Levante (Spain) - also "slightly" higher than Conference. I know he's gone to JPL now but even their leagu...

Seems like a massive underachiever by comparison.
How would you compare Arzani to the Englishman, the Senegalese, the Moroccan, the Nigerian or the Panamanian?

You should familiarise yourself with the history of this discussion. You should also familiarise yourself with history. 1993 was a loss. 1988 was against a 'C' team and was a faux friendly. What competition were those 1988 players playing in? You might notice I wrote 0-1. Usually that means a loss....

Well Grosso since 1993 was the last time australia played argentina in a non-friendly getting results of 1-1 & 0-1 are probably pretty good.
We did win the Bicentennial Gold Cup clash 4-1 in 1988.
Question: why did you move away from Uruguay when talking about football? Or Peru?

Re: Australia v Peru
36 in world football is reasonable, 18th in rugby and you're pretty cabernet. Exactly. Eg a team ranked say 9th or 10th (like a Scotland or Tonga) would wipe the floor with Uruguay in Rugby - 50 plus points would be a predictable margin. The USA beat Uruguay 61-19 in their last match. USA are ranke...
