Geez, what next - the grass was too long in the six yard box? The air pressure in the ball was 1lb per square inch too hard? The goalie's glove clashed with the colour of the opponents socks? Give me a break!

Dont know about everyone else, but Qatar's preparation has been far superior to that of ours, so I have some hesitation that this will be an easy win. Squad has been together for some time, they have played some tough friendlies recently (both 0-0 draws against respected Asian opposition from memory...

Re: EURO 2008 QUALIFIERS 17/11

The most interesting games in view of results will be: GROUP B: Scotland/Italy The winner to stay in the race. But both could still make it depending how France go in their final round against the Ukraine. France 25, Scotland 24, Italy 23 point. GROUP C: Norway/Turkey To see which country joins Gre...

New team - Black Eagles

New team starting in Sunday Div 7 I think - roots are from Albanian community - like the good old days of Albany Eagles (70's and 80's), Adelaide Eagles (80's and 90's) and more recently Vllaznia.
Should be some interesting games ahead!

Either 2-2 or Liverpool 3-2 (would be good for the champoinship race).
Kuyt, Gerrard, Riise (30 yard screamer in 92nd minute)
Ronaldo, Rooney

Its amazing how the Euro form of Liverpool cant translate into league form always. One minute they can beat Milan or Juve, then they'll lose to Bolton or Charlton. Very frustrating! Nevertheless, well done you Reds!!!

U/15 - Croydon v Metro - title decider

I believe final game, with winner effectively winning the title. Metro need draw only, Croydon must win.
Good luck Croydon boys, hope you win the double after a terrific cup final victory!

Thats my point - is that ALL the refs have been forced to join FFSA (therefore there will be no separate body as there is now). Perhaps someone who is a ref can confirm? Am sure they have been made aware of potential situation.

I believe if the Amateur league doesnt join, then they will NOT have access to the current referee list (ie who will ref their games?). This is probably the biggest hurdle to overcome.
Tis almost blackmail!
