Re: banned
'Amateur Soccer League secretary Alex Cichanowski said there was no room for threatening behaviour in soccer. “They found it difficult to accept the decision made by the referee and then began chasing the referee,” Mr Cichanowski said. “ They have been suspended until they can demonstrate that they ...

Re: GHAN UNITED
We don’t have or ever had anyone called sam at my club. Also the juniors have had no cards all season so not sure what your on about. Stacey Anthony J :) was suspended last week! You had a junior coach and then replaced him due to some act. As i said, 5 fingers are not the same bro! I'd be amazed i...

Re: GHAN UNITED
Ghan senior wasn't enough for some people in this forum to complain about and now when there is nothing left to say against them, they have started about Ghan junior lol. The matter of the fact is that those people are actually jealous of Ghan's achievements and therefore all the jealouse team will...

Re: GHAN UNITED
Old Ghan players got kicked out of the club and some got banned for life due to the same issues (fingering, fighting, being rough and abusive towards other teams including their own coach!) SAASL took the deciuson and banned them for life. New Ghan formed 4 years ago with new playerers. It is Ghan ...

Re: GHAN UNITED
So it's all made up? Have Ghan players tried to stick fingers up player's arses? This team was formed recently 4 years ago with Rahim Shah Zaidi as the coach and new boys. This finger issue was done by other boys by the same name of the club "Ghan"! As i said before, before blaming the ne...

Re: on the grape vine
My point is you don't have to be registered with a specific body to be eligible for a call up. Yes you do. SAASL is not recognised by FIFA and as such you cannot play in FIFA sanctioned competition. I'm sure there are throngs of players in SAASL missing out on the chance to represent their nations ...

Re: on the grape vine
Have heard an agreement is close. Also hearing though that clubs would have to agree to it. Would have to be a pretty good deal for clubs to agree to it surely. Aside from playing in the federation cup, what's in it for clubs to join that joke organisation? To be fair SAASL is a joke of an organisa...

Interesting, on two separate occasions last year the club I was associated with asked for the footage, and in both instances we were told by Ghan it was unavailable.Farwa_16 wrote:Ghan still has the video , no point of covering it up.

Re: GHAN UNITED
If it's as bad as its been claimed on here (and clubs I've been involved with in previous years have had issues with them), why are referees accepting the appointments involving Ghan? Stand firm and show SAASL they won't put their safety at risk

Just a heads up to reserve team coaches. When playing Ghan away it's well worth trying to get and paying for an official ref if possible. We nearly and I now regret that we didn't walk off the pitch today after 15 minutes. Words such as disgraceful and cheat are been way too kind. They could have p...

Re: GHAN UNITED
rightly or wrongly it would seem that certain teams can and do get away with all this. others can not and wouldent think of trying. it does seem a shame that these clubs are happy to circumvent the rules that they obviously have decided don't apply to them. the longer it goes on unchecked will only...

Yes it was our linesman & without being too rude we will not be using him again. It was that blatant that even your striker stopped for a good second before playing on & scoring. I don't like blaming 1 single thing on losing a game but if there was any case this was it. However what I was s...

Have you seen or had him before? I really feel he's the type of ref that would allow a game to get out of hand (that tackle by your #2 was disgusting), the quickest he moved all day was asking for his match payment!

PAC defeated Southern Knights on penalties in the Reserves Cup....( 3-3 at full time 5-5 after extra time..) Thats a good effort against 8 PAC first team players! Re: Referees
By the letter of the law is it not a red card for last man? No it isn't. My understanding of the new laws (which I thought we'd moved over to this season) is last man tackle in the box, that denies a goal scoring opportunity is now a penalty and a yellow (unless violent conduct), anything outside t...

Re: Referees
Just to add a bit of balance, the two refs we have had for our last two games have been outstanding. Kept up with the game, made largely the right decisions, explained their decisions and treated the players like adults. Ditto for Knights...the home referee for the Reserves v Vista was quite unrema...
