Re: SAASL
Without knowing figures, as someone who has been involved with SAASL for years, I’d be happy to take the financial hit and get away from the absolute shambles that is the organisation.

Re: SAASL
So the clubs who move to this new State league or any other league will forfeit their share of the SAASL assets(which are substantial) under this constitutional change? At the moment if another league wants to incorporate SAASL clubs they are not able to get the assets as the clubs own them. My und...

Long time reader, first time poster. Kyle Condron has been appointed at West Beach FC as Senior Coach for 2023. Moves from USC Lion where he was Premier B (Reserves) Coach. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=pfbid0t6EZjvy9z3AR7D18YZCaAJABQhwoykJynqxsE99igJRfMwuo4ZoHPCAafAkzitiKl&id=100...

Re: Rowe Park sack coach
Ok, so it’s NOT the “not good enough” playing group that are to blame Gristy? Like Haywood Dyablowme said it’s always the coaches fault 😂 what I did witness first hand is this. The Coach was not given full Autonomy. There were too many others wanting to have input. Ultimately this could of been DL ...

Re: Rowe Park sack coach
:D what time was kick off on Sunday ? Every 7 minutes :D There last 2 games without DL at the helm they have conceded 18 without reply  A silly move by the Rowe Park "hierarchy" to sack the coach, in my opinion its a dog act. How is it a dog act? A club can choose to move a coach on ...

Sets an interesting precedent. Swing first, just make sure you run away and get knocked out and you’re okay.chunky-monkey wrote: ↑Fri Jul 01, 2022 6:39 am I believe the Munno Para player was handed a 3 game suspension while West Beach player got 12 games

Re: Munno Para v West Beach
any news ? any suspensions ?? Bit surprising seeing as the bloke who got knocked out was quick to go to Ch7. Funnily enough the initial footage left out the bit where he had a crack at the bloke from behind first. Surely something has come of this, shouldn’t take this long when the club had already...

Re: Covid, postponements and SAASL losing the bottle of shiraz plot
they did the same thing last year r1 when they said no first team games can go ahead without official refs. That lasted a week before they allowed club refs to do first team in the lower divs. reckon the same will happen this year Maybe if players and coaches stopped treating the Ref's like caberne...

Re: Shortage of players?
So we’ve got rumours swirling around about MA Hawks, from what I’ve been told from their own players One Tree Hill is now down to one team. This leaves both Sat Div 1 (potentially) and Sat Div 2 with a 9 team competition. Divs 3 & 4 start this week, with 8 and 6. If those two clubs have gone dow...

Shortage of players?
We are now into the cup competition and worryingly we’ve got some clubs still struggling to field two teams. Constantly seeing advertisements for players. Are we seeing players drop off due to Covid? Is it due to the league allowing more clubs in, are we seeing the playing pool spread too thin or is...

Re: Port Adelaide Pirates (CSL) Players 2022
Lots of clubs trying to get into the Collegiate League, due to the opportunity to play and not have to leave the club, not sure about Raiders, but all clubs have to be accepted by other teams already in the comp, they don't go in automatedly, they also have to go into the single team league first, ...

SAASL board
Before I ask these questions and comment I’d like to point out that any views are solely my own and have nothing to do with the club I’m currently involved with. What’s the process of electing the SAASL board? How does one get a chance to get on this board/make a change? We are unfortunately seeing ...

How? Why? What?when? Please explain your message! ETFC for at least the second time this season would rather punch on than play football. Had them fighting a club linesman earlier in the season, and they decided to punch on yesterday. If we don’t draw attention to their behaviour, they’ll just keep...

Re: Referee shortage
Pumas vs McLaren also had no official but played with the club ref doing both games. Good on them, glad to see commonsense prevail there. My understanding was Croydon refused to have probably the best club referee going around in Nick from Blue Eagles do the first team. Instead they dropped players...
