I reckons we need to make sure we get our players names/faces up in front of the National coaches which means increasing exposure and success at key events ie the State Championships, National League. How does the selection process actually work? who picks them and what is the criteria? I agree with...

Centralisation is the key. Again I think you girls drive yourselves around coz you're not elgible for Zones. Correct? So I'm just thinking that a central spot is sensible. Public transport is not an issue when its centralised in town and I can get myself a great latte before heading ff to the games ...

Why isn't it centralised? Para Hills is a long way for anyone other than thsoe who live on that side of town.

At this age group, its the mum's and dad's that are the transporters.

Keep it in the City! I reckon utilising the Adelaide City/SAWSA parks are the way to go.

From previous topics I think 2-3 players went. Stocco is delving deep into the past. This weighting towards the Eastern states is something we crowies have had to deal with in every spectrum of sport. Token Players? Not sure if that's a fair assumption or label to put on the players (hope not) Thund...

Basically the geographical (split of states) representation is like this: ACT 5 NSW 11 PLD 3 WA 1 Vic 1 SA 0 Tas 0 No one from SA good enough? Of course we are good enough. Dissapointing for those girls who tried out and were cut. I reckon if I was trying to crack the squad I woudl move to ACT. Per ...

Happens all the time. And unfortuntaley, its the players and their parents who feel agrieved when the "win at all costs" is the primary motivator. You will find that this will happen when a coach is under seige to produce results. By the way, was there any issue of players dropped, promote...
