Why is the final at a neutral ground?
Surely the downs or Brahma should host the final?

Of bigger concern should be whether the game is allowed to go ahead in the current climate.

Hopefully sanity prevails and it is allowed to go ahead

Templin Cup Final has always been played at a neutral ground.

Yes but why a federation ground ? Giving money to support their Fed team really doubt it will go to their Amateur side !!

Considering the President of the Feds is the Coach of the Amateurs I would say there would be a fair distribution...if the game were to be played.

I have to say, for the majority Saasl have done a good job navigating through this period, but I cant for the life of me get my head around not being able to play a team outside our group in a friendly game, its not like were trying to tee up a trial game with South Melbourne, we were wanting to play a club that's situated across the road from my work place, where I see and converse with players & coaches.

I know its not the end of the world and its just another hurdle, but its just an odd decision.

Do the 'boundary' rules apply if you're playing an FSA team & have it sanctioned with their referees?

Yes I said this in another post, there are no guidelines to say we can't travel and guidelines that say we can play 10 aside with a referee. The SAASL seemed to have asked the Government and they in turn have made up a new rule. If they hadn't asked then it would have been fine. Whilst the Government overall have done a great job, I have first hand experience of them making up new rules outside the guidelines when asked a question
