Classic Triple M Boring

Post by ozzie owl »

The format sounded exciting , however after a week its playlist is boring and predictable. Same set of songs from limited artist range rotated through the day.

Back to Pandora for me.

Finding Double JJ refreshing and nostalgic at the same time.

Just did a rescan and that came up. How long has it been there?
Why is half a day at home more tiring than a week at work?

Only started broadcasting about a month ago...I used to listen to the original 2JJ broadcast mainly for Sydney (that became the national Triple JJJ) when it started in the 70s.

Agree ozzie - anyone else remember about 7 years ago they tried a more modern and alternative playlist which didn't last very long but was probably the best they've done - was probably about the same time Mick Molloy had a lunch time gig.

I'm glad you brought this to my attention. Apparently they're bringing back the J files. I used to listen to that when I was in Brisbane,

They certainly don't mind thrashing Sharon Van Etten's Every Time The Sun Comes Up.

To think years 1984 and 1992 are playing off for the "greatest year of music ever".

Ocean Rain was released in 1984 - wins hands down
I'm not playing anymore and I'm taking my ball and going home.
