Re: Liverpool
Liverpool knew the schedule at the start of the season.
Will they be fined for fielding a weakened side?

Why would you congratulate the "supporters"?
Re: Liverpool
It must be a cultural difference,in Croatia it is a normal thing to be polite to people that are happy for their club achieving something. If people find it unusual, leave it as a weird wog thing then.

Don’t people congratulate the bride and groom’s parents when their children get married too?God is an Englishman wrote:Polite, I have no issue with that but congratulations should be earnt.predrag wrote:It must be a cultural difference,in Croatia it is a normal thing to be polite to people that are happy for their club achieving something. If people find it unusual, leave it as a weird wog thing then.

Actually when I played in Japan it was tradition for players to 'greet' the opposition fans after the game which to me took a lot of getting used to because in Europe if you did that you'd be classed as trying to incite the crowd.God is an Englishman wrote:Why would you congratulate the "supporters"?predrag wrote:A fantastic final this morning, congratulations to all the Liverpool fans on this forum.

Sometimes you have to just accept you don’t know things and we can teach you about others actions , it’s common in most places I have been , the fact you think it’s strange is not relevant.God is an Englishman wrote:I've never heard anyone congratulate the parents. How many Jewish weddings have you been to BTW? If any, you will have seen the parents being congratulated- if you say otherwise (assuming there were parents there) you are just trolling for the sake of it.

Funeral directors must be terrible at their jobs, they're alive .
Don't think I've ever been to a Jewish wedding.

They run the show. As a member of the congregation, I wouldn't be "part of the show" either.

I'm watching football later but none of the players are part of the show as they're employees.
Re: Liverpool
Liverpool's win over Leicester,in my opinion made them cemented at the top of the ladder, what a game!As far as weddings go Croat/Slovene/Serb/Bosnian Muslim/Slavic Macedonians/Bulgarians all congratulate close family members at weddings as they have gained another family member into their clan.Different nations have different customs, when my English friends parents passed away his older brother (oldest of 4) inherited everything they possessed,if that happened in Croatia it would have started a civil war.
