Peter Bonetti RIP

Post by ozzie owl »

Sad to hear the passing of former Chelsea and Englang goalkeeper Peter Bonetti.

Played 600 games for Chelsea and 7 for England.

As a Chelsea fan I always thought of him a great. From England point he was always second to Gordon Banks. RIP The Cat

Even though he was a Chelsea player, I always admired him as one of the best 'keepers of his time.
If not for Banks he would have definitely been England's number 1 on a regular basis. RIP.
The older I get the better I was.
