Australian Football Team Captaincy

Post by GeorgeFowell »

Sydney Trent Sainsbury has put his hand up to be the new Socceroos commander, yet his father-in-law, new mentor Graham Arnold, is probably not going to settle on a long haul choice before their guard of the Asian Cup in January.

Australia has just had two changeless captains over the previous decade - Lucas Neill and Mile Jedinak - and Arnold is quick to settle on the correct decision

Milligan is by far the best option, he is a natural Captain, as he's always geeing up his teammates and pushes himself beyond belief every time he goes out on the field.
His performances in the SPL are proof of that as the defence has improved since he first played.

I didn't like him much when he was younger but he has matured into a top-class player.
The older I get the better I was.
