Simon/Bomber, you need to specify in which division/competition that the Mermaids ( Like that name!!) will play in. The girls need to have an idea about whether it is going to be purely a "social" team or a team in something like the State League. Are you guys aspiring to one day play in the Women's NPL or just "gauging the interest" out there before making any decisions about this? In any case, good luck with this venture!!

Not sure yet. I think it may depend on quality to some degree so best to enquire to Simon (see opening post) on that one.SAD GAL wrote:In what league are they entering?

This could be an important decision to possible players as to whether they join the club or not... I'd think that this is actually a rather important piece of information.Bomber wrote:Not sure yet. If you're aiming to become a State League club with aims of being a WNPL club then that will attract better players than if you're just planning to be a Division team.

I'd think you'd have to enter into a division first and then make your way up, aren't there rules and regulations about that
Re: Croydon Kings - New Woman's team for 2017
I understand that there are certain rule and regulations that govern which division a new team will play in.
Great move by the Kings.
