A great article. I still cant believe fixtures are out for the W League season but we don't know coach or players yet.

Great article and analysis however, looking at it from a local point of view, can the media across all fora be improved? I fervently listen to local sport radio ad there is 0 about women's football. Not only the main stream commercial stations but the blokes on community radio are a good conduit to get someone from the clubs calling up and having a say about their team. The FFSA promoting games and the finals series. We have a great product that will keep people turning up. look at the crowd last Friday night!!!

I think a lot of the concerns raised by players will/can be addressed with better exposure that doesn't cost anything. In turn this will bring interest and hopefully $$$$$$

So now that Jones has publicly put his hand up for the Newcastle HAL job today, what's the back up plan if he gets it?

Who are the current assistants?

To be honest, the best thing for the Lady Reds would be for Jones to go
