Croydon and Fulham

Post by SAD GAL »

Not unexpected for the Kings. Brave to have put out a side week in week out only to get obliterated? Or insanity by the club and FSA? The latter is true. Only thing achieved was the decision not to be in SL for 2025 and potentially spelling the end of the women's program at Croydon.

Fulham? Self fulfilling prophecy. over 10 years of inaction (or disinterest) by the club to properly support and resource the women's program. Good cash cow from juniors up. Insane decisions token going to the well of the same well trodden path of appointing the same coach and expecting a better result? Laziness by the club or a person who can sell the dream? The former.

Are they moving down tiers or wiped out completely?

U9 -U12 (Returning) $250

Not exactly a cash cow. More like a cash drain.

The u12 to u17 boys are paying $1350.

Drain? Not sure about fulham's situation however, a great % of the boys fees are goi9ng to pay for the seniors team. Girls? some of the feels go towards senior men's and very little if any towards the senior women.

It's all relative and certainly not a drain.

Sad but not unexpected for both.

fulham ? Hmm where do you start. Long time in the coming. Teh former head coach and multiple time saviour has spread his wings to the the strikers. Hope they did their due diligence.

Those girls fees won't cover the cost of running the girls teams. The club will be contributing to the costs of the girls team.

That's what sponsors are for. But if you filter all your women's sponsors across to the men then that becomes hard to do also.
