I just hope the crows and the power pull their fingers out this year and start playing some good footy again.
need a strong SA presence in the top half of the ladder again..........more likely to be crows than power though

they'd be even further ahead if the GWS didn't rob them of their priority picks for being wooden spoonersRed-4-Life wrote:Power looking like a rejuvenated side, They'll have a much better season I reckon.sua7ez wrote:I just hope the crows and the power pull their fingers out this year and start playing some good footy again.

crap time to finish bottom..........although west coast finished bottom when GC got their picks and they went from bottom to reaching the preliminary final.........mind you they have the best ruck combination in the league with Cox/Naitianui which makes a big difference too

Re: AFL season 2012
GOLD Coast Suns superstar Gary Ablett crashed through the $1 million mark last season - but the AFL won't reveal his exact salary.
Ablett and one other player pocketed more than $1 million last year, the first time in four years an AFL player has taken home a seven-figure pay packet.
In previous years the AFL has disclosed player salaries to within $100,000, but this year they have not done so for the two $1 million men.
Ablett was lured away from Geelong on a $8 million, six-year deal and is tipped to have earned as much as $1.8 million last season in a heavily front-ended deal.
The AFL has not named any players on its wages table, but Ablett is known to be one of the two $1 million men. The second could be Carlton captain Chris Judd or St Kilda's Nick Riewoldt.
Ablett's teammate and code jumper Karmichael Hunt pocketed a fortune to join the AFL, but it is unclear whether his salary, which includes a massive marketing component, is included in the bands released by the AFL today.
The average AFL salary in 2011 was $253,795, up from $249,239 the previous year.
Players are in line for another pay rise this season after signing off on a new collective bargaining agreement in November.

Re: AFL season 2012
Judd's contract was front-loaded, so he would of got well over a million in his first couple of seasons, and now recieving probably well under a million for the next couple. Averages out to about a million a year!
Hoping the Bummers finish 11th
