They'll just change it to the big 5 (or 6 if Spurs keep it up for 5 consecutive seasons or so).

It will take a few years for Liverpool to regain their status as a BIG club but they will get there eventually, especially if they ever get their new stadium constructed.

"Big" in terms of what?
Winning? Money? Support?

it's a good thing you're as insignificant as you are then :P

for those that don't know here is the 'big four'

Man Utd
Liverpool
Chelsea
Arsenal

in no particular order

Liverpoo still in the top 4, with MAN U, chelski and arsenal!

Man city and spurs have to consistently be in top 4, to replace those currently there.

There's only really a big 3. Chelsea aren't a big club, just the same as Man City aren't yet. Their support is woeful and they've only been a force for the last 6 or so years, less in City's case. Will their sugar daddies continue to support them?

That's not to say that, given time, they won't become 'big', but that's less likely once the FFP rules come in.

its just what they say in england the big 4, always assumed liverpool was in it, but no league in 22 years, probably does not justify it.

It's another useless, thing people harp on about.

If Man City win the league this year, they are the one, the rest are nobody's.

Do you get extra points or money for being in the so called big 4? Of course not.

TV companies want LFC and MU on as they get the most viewers. LFC website the most hits of any sports team in the world. Things like this matter to companies, not just league position.

I'd say the Champions League revenue alone is worth a top four position.

Liverpool have definitely provided the most entertainment to the rest of us over the last few years. The piss taking opportunities abound.

See! Even in lesser years Liverpool still are the wonderment of others. As for Spurs, I gave up taking the piss out of them in about 1976, such has been their plight.

Fortunately, in the years where we had such luminaries as Christian Gross and David 'Kerb Crawler' Pleat running the show, the internet didn't exist.

Championships, and four European Cups. Compared to them I have done nothing
