Parafield Gardens vs Ingle Farm (1-2) - I'll taller than Lefty so that's why we will win.
Para Hills East vs Elizabeth Grove (2-2) - Hard one to pick as East have good preseason form and people are talking up the Grove. A spot of the fence sounds like the best bet
Fulham Utd vs Elizabeth Vale (2-1) - Fulham at home although Vale are quietly confident about the season ahead
Modbury Vista vs Pontian (3-2) - Vista been talking themselves up both public and privately and have the preseason results on the board. Pontian is one of those teams that is just so hard to predict.
Elizabeth Downs vs Salisbury Inter (5-0) - Last year Downs could get the ball forward but lacked options to put it away. Along with Gardens and Vista, they have recruited the most and talked it up the most. Inter I fear might struggle to over come the pressure that Downs put on them.

Should be a great season with 4-5 teams a real chance to win the league.

You're too fond of Charlie Gallagher and Harry Hood. You wouldn't win a league with 11 Charlie Gallaghers or Harry Hoods

Hey JAY SLOWLY RAMBLING,

You should try a different spot for phishing mate over Easter, or try something other than square hooks to try catching something?

Downs, Vista and Gardens talking it up the most........pppffffffttttttttt.

Gardens know how hard it is to win a championship, or two and even harder to back it up with a three-peat. The confidence from the Gardens just hasn't been apparent this season as it has previous seasons and rightly so. Just check on the number of posts from our mate Nugget since Xmas.

Vista are the new boys on the block and whilst they are full of testosterone and ready to test themselves within Div 1, with some good inclusions and that big boy feeling they will go a fair way this year but I certainly haven't heard them overtake themselves in conversation.

As for the Downs, Can't say I've seen on this forum them mentioning a word apart from the fact it will be an interesting season ahead!

What has been said and seen, is there are some quality newcomers to the amateur league across the board that should ensure some very good football is played and watched this year.

Best of luck to all teams and may the best coached be conquerer of all!

Parafield Gardens vs Ingle Farm 4-1 Think it may be a blowout

Para Hills East vs Elizabeth Grove 1-3 Grove going under the radar a bit with a good squad

Fulham Utd vs Elizabeth Vale 0-2 pumped for the first game, always a hard game up at Fullham but i think we can get off to a good start.

Modbury Vista vs Pontian 1-3

Elizabeth Downs vs Salisbury Inter 2-3 Inter to steal this one late.

Gardens 2-0 Farm ; gardens look good and its back to where it counts, the real games
East 1-3Grove ; grove have not good preseason form but this game will be first game played with a full side.
Fulham 0-1 Vale; vale will grind this tight game out.
Downs 5-0 Inter ; downs too strong and plenty of power in attack.
vista 0-2 pontian ; vista will come down to earth with a bang.

Gardens v farm 4-1 (Sorry Jay, but think Gardens will want to start well and this may be a hard first game for you guys)
East v Grove 2-1 (East take good form into Round 1)
Fulham v Vale 1-1 (Vale are a good team but I know Fulham have also recruited well and played some good football preseason)
Vista v Pontians 5+ -0 (My info is Pontians are struggling, internal bickering and losing a few players)
Downs v Inter 5-1 (I think the Downs will be out to prove something on Sunday. Last year they were expecting more and then they had an offseason shrouded in controversy [Sorry Los Blancos 14, still luv ya])

Modbury Vista vs Pontian ...... even with the so called internal issue's pontian by 2

My mail is a player who has left this year in disgust with your club and what is going on down there.

A few C Graders getting a regular run in the first team this year due to a lack of depth??
