Yes the top two go up, but in the playoffs only one goes to Serie A.

Incredibly close league, has been all season. Been the best battle at the top I've seen for a long while and as a neutral I've really enjoyed it. Pescara have been great to watch.

What a dominant performance.

the 2nd, 4th and 5th goals were class, tore that defence to shreds!

i love keeping in touch and watching serie b

there are some great teams and goals which come out of this league

correct me but all the clubs are italian coached except zeman at pescara.

the system he plays your always going to score 4 goals and concede 3

Amazing Stat

Pescara are sitting 2nd having scored an amazing 80 goals thus far but conceded 50!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Livorno are sitting in the relegation play off zone and have only conceded............ 47!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There have been 26 coaching changes thus far this season

:D still a long way to go but pretty confident we will go up

The thing I like about the B play off system is that if 3rd is 10 points clear of 4th there are no play offs and the top 3 go up automatically. Obviously won't happen this season but it's a great way to reward dominance.

Also if after 2 legs play offs finish equal on goals the team who finishes highest in the league goes through NOT away goals

If Pescara get promoted, how likely are they to keep all their guns?

Immobile and Insigne both on loan and have done well enough to go back to their parent clubs. Verratti heavily linked with Juve. Also heard rumours at various stages during the season that Capuano, Caprari, etc may earn moves to bigger clubs.

Would be good to see them all stick together and see how far they get in Serie A, but obviously as a Juve fan would love to see Immobile and Verratti get the chance to prove themselves in the Bianconeri.

If Lavezzi is sold, it will mean that Insigne comes back to Napoli.

Capuano is close to a deal with Napoli also, Verratti will go to Juve and Caprari is on loan from Roma.

At the moment Verratti is on a long term deal with us and no negotiations have began with Juve or Milan.

Insigne had another incredible game last night and i see no reason why Napoli wouldn't want him back to take Lavezzi's spot but shiraz i hope they keep Lavezzi and let us have 1 more season with him.

Immobile, who knows!!!! If juve bring in a new striker i see them sending him back to us (If Genoa move breaks down (no idea what's going on with that btw))

Capuano, haven't heard anything about him either, i'd say it'd be a co-ownership deal?!
Lets hope Roma send back Caprari also

Immobile is co-owned with Genoa, that is for certain. I'd love to see him stay a season at Pescara if they go up, same with Insigne. Would really help their development.

Another win for Sampdoria, they were peaking quite nicely. Pozzi with a double (I think the first will go down as an own goal, if not Pozzi has a hat-trick) and both were quite good finishes.

Great performance by Pescara to go first, and perhaps dispelling doubts people (myself included) have about their tactical strength defensively. Didn't give Torino much and put them away at the other end with a fantastic Insigne opener (from Veratti's brilliant pass) and Immobile's header.

Huge week coming up with Torino v Sassuolo and Pescara v Livorno (starting from the 30th minute with Livorno 2-0 up) in the catch up games and Pescara v Sampdoria next weekend.

Great ball by Verratti, how was the first touch by Insigne to go around the keeper.

I hope he comes back to us. Lavezzi is all but gone.

Big big rumour is that the reason Napoli all of a sudden happy to let Lavezzi go is that Jovetic deal is done with fiorentina.

Delfino was still shitting in his dacks when Pescara and a guy called Massimiliano Allegri played Serie A.

You will probably have to do it without Insigne, but Vargas looks like he will be the sweetener and on his way to the Pescaresi on loan.

Capuano and maybe (I hope) Verratti to Napoli.

hahaha unforunately Pibe is right, i was only 3 years old when Pescara's last Serie A campaign took place. Now though different kettle of fish...
absolutely delighted...haven't taken my jacket off all week, OVER THE MOON is definitely the way to describe it Rookie

3 years ago we were on the verge of Non-existance now we are in the best league in the world!!! WOW

Verratti is a highly sort after young man....rumour has it Milan could offer 12m euros beating Juve's 10m and Genoa's 10m plus player coming to us.....plus Moratti has said he wants him at Inter....

Unfortunately for all buyers MARCO has come out and said he has dreamed of playing for Pescara in A his whole life and he is going to tell the president he wants to stay.

Insigne wants to stay also if his club will let him come back to us on loan!

Zeman is also going into talks with the club this week, as his 1 year contract expires in June!

I hope we sign Verratti then leave him at the Adriatico for a season. Best for him to get as much Serie A under his belt as possible.

Pescara pip Torino to first on the final day to take home the trophy, a great finish to their incredible season. I really hope the current squad (plus improvements) can have a crack at Serie A, even if Verratti should be Juve-owned

Sassuolo v Sampdoria and Verona v Varese in the playoffs, they should be crackers.

The Pescara open roof bus caught fire on the way from Rome for the celebration.

Pescara open-top bus catches fire!By Football Italia staff

Pescara’s promotion celebrations have been hit by a bizarre incident, as the open-top bus went up in flames!

Zdenek Zeman led the team to top the Serie B table and secure their promotion back into the top flight after a 20-year absence.

They were set to travel round the city streets in an open-topped bus to celebrate the achievement.

However, the vehicle they hired in Rome, painted with the Pescara logo, caught fire on the A24 motorway due to a short-circuit on its way to pick up the squad.

The driver was unhurt, although the bus was badly damaged in the accident.

Pescara have now hired another bus and the fans are joining in by decorating it in the club colours.

The promotion party is going ahead, but an hour behind schedule.
