PONTIAN vs ELIZ DOWNS - Hard to tip against the Downs. Pontians will push them hard but I think Downs defence might be just good enough to hold Pontian out for a win. Downs 2-0
ELIZ GROVE vs PARAFIELD - Gardens would be hungry for a win but Grove wont let them have it their own way. Gardens 3-2
P/HILLS EAST vs FULHAM - Fulham wouldn't be happy with last week and should bounce back. East is tough at home though and will get a point. 1-1
ELIZ VALE vs INGLE FARM After seeing the great promotion of Blue Powerade by Jobe Watson for Essendon against the Suns, our guys have all started drinking it and that will give us the edge. Farm 0-2
SALS INTER vs MOD VISTA I don't like picking mainly away teams but Vista are still my dark horse. Last weeks win will give them some confidence.

Pontian v Downs- Pontians should be boosted by the return of their captain this week which will be a big boost but i still think Downs are too strong and will win a tight one 1-2

Gardens v Grove- Gardens have turned into the draw specialists early this season and need the win to be able to kepp up with the leaders early. gardens to win 2-1

East v Fulham- Fulham are a good side who knock the ball around quite well which could give Easties some problems. Tough place to come away from but i think Fulham can get a point 1-1

Vale v Farm- been a slow sort of start from the Vale who need to get a win on the board to stay in touch up top. Farm on the other just keep plugging away which is credit to Simmo with the players he's lost. I think the Farmers will snatch this one 0-1

Inter v Vista-

PONTIAN vs ELIZ DOWNS - Havent played pontian yet, but they have been getting good results against the quality sides in the league. Last week we worked our butts off and got done by one moment of class from trimmers. this is why the guys from the downs have played at the highest level (locally), they only need one chance. Its hard to contain them all game, but I think pontian should be able to score a couple against a suspect downs defence.
ELIZ GROVE vs PARAFIELD - Always a nice pitch at grove and this will suit gardens. I think a few of their key players will be just about getting there with fitness. The slow start is due to their preseason which a few of these missed.
P/HILLS EAST vs FULHAM - We showed last week we can compete with one of the best in the league. We will be desperate for a win against a fulham side who will also be desperate to get more points and keep us at the foot. Confidence is a big player in this one!
ELIZ VALE vs INGLE FARM - Farms pace should see them get the win here. Vista troubled vale with pace and pace arent short in that area. Will Mr X keep his spot after gaining the plaudits from his gaffer?
SALS INTER vs MOD VISTA - Kind of hoping for a draw here to keep these two closer to us :) Inter were decent opposition against us, but Vista will work hard for the points. I think the home advantage should see inter get at least a point. The only worry is their lack of pace at the back.

???? What is this pearl of wisdom based on? Seems pretty settled and don't think they have coughed up a huge amount of goals for a few years now, goalscoring tended to be the Downs problem not keeping it out.

PONTIAN V DOWNS.
Cant see Pontian scoring.
Cant sit on the fence.
Downs 2-0
GROVE V GARDENS.
Last chance for the champs
but Grove will fancy thier chances.
1-1.
EAST V FULHAM.
Best chance for Easties to open thier
account, otherwise relegation looms.
Easties 3-1.
VALE V FARM.
Home team to win in a close one.
2-1.
INTER V VISTA.
Clash of the new boys.
Vista finding it tough in the big league ?
Inters Wilson v Williams pace ?
Inter far too good . 3-0.

Wilson to be reminded by the Vista faithful of his antics after their catch up game with Bosna last year, declaring his team as "champions". Karma was and still will be a biaaatch! :D

Could be perceived lack of pace, with Pontians having some speedy forwards..... maybe!!!!
Just my opinion, hope you don't take it as a shot at your beloved!!!

Very mature , played you when we had nothing else, its called desperate, and the feeling is mutual. For a tubby old bloke I've knocked in a few against ur club over the past cppl seasons, you idiot!!!

I knew someone would bite at that one. Thought red might come out of the woodwork :)
Gee if I took everything written about easties on here i would have a heart attack.

In what is a quality side, I felt that when we played you guys having a few quicker forwards could do damage as they played a fairly high line and morrison is likely to push into the midfield when he has the chance. Obviously this can be exposed if distribution isnt spot on or if the pressure from the opposition is good enough.
Is that fair a enough opinion?

Dear Legga and downs players and supporters. I have been asked by the club to mention that there will be a canteen and bar run by the club at headquarters tomorrow. As per usual we will have plenty to offer for all walk of life. apologizes for the late notice

PONTIAN V DOWNS - Pontians too are a Quality side & I believe that there defense is better than it was last year. Tough game for both but I'm tipping & hoping for Pontian at Home...

GROVE V GARDENS - Its going to be a tuff battle but I believe Gardens will get the chocolates.

EAST V FULHAM - East always play well at home Draw.

VALE V FARM - I believe Farm will build on there win last week & move up the ladder.

INTER V VISTA - Inter with a point to prove & still hurting from throwing away the title last year, Vista struggling with there keeper
