Jordan Rhodes... 5 goals away from home!
Well, we were all expecting the Championship to be his next port of call, but the Premiership seems to be calling now.
He's added at least a million to his value over the last month.
5 times this season he's scored a hat trick or better.
Spurs now added to the list of those knocking on the Udders door, looks like they are set for a nice payday.
Clive Allen & Joe Jordan amongst those at Wycombe watching the lad.
Joey Barton on Twitter: "Wow. Jordan Rhodes 5 goals tonight. Fancy that to be enough to force the big boys to spend their cash. Hope our gaffa's watching......"

The kids a superstar. 100 games and 60 goals, for someone so young - amazing effort. Huddersfield have said that no matter what price, they will not sell him. Good on them.
Tommy: We've lost Gorgeous George.
Brick Top: Well, where'd you lose him? He ain't a set of fucking car keys now, is he? And it ain't as if he's incon-fucking-spicuous now, is it?

If they don't go up, it'll be hard to keep him, and hard to turn down the millions they'd get for him.BrickTop wrote:The kids a superstar. 100 games and 60 goals, for someone so young - amazing effort. Huddersfield have said that no matter what price, they will not sell him. Good on them.

Re: Jordan Rhodes... 5 goals away from home!
watched the game of Fox Sports. Was impressed with his strength and his eye for goal.... Would definitely be worth a risk for a mid to low table Premier League team.
What a load of crap. All that needs to happen here is for the player to say 'I'm off'.... The clubs hands are tied.BrickTop wrote:Huddersfield have said that no matter what price, they will not sell him. Good on them.

Will the Championship be a big enough leap for Jordan Rhodes ?

I was hoping you didn't go up so that we could have made a cheeky bid for him. Wouldn't be suprised if a Norwich or QPR make a bid for him.swannsong wrote:Will the Championship be a big enough leap for Jordan Rhodes ?

I believe that Liverpool are watching developments closely.
(A mate in Huddersfield said a Liverpool scout has been hanging around his house for the last two weeks.

that's a lot of money for an unproven league on striker. How long left on his contract?

So are you saying celtic bought an options contract on Rhodes? How much did they pay for that? What happens if Millwall offer #4,000,000.01DOC wrote:Lennon has first option at 4 mil as Rhodes wants to play regular football and wants a taste of the CL

Huddersfield's £8m-rated striker Jordan Rhodes, 22, who has been linked with Everton, Aston Villa and Fulham, says he has "no idea if I am staying" after helping his club win promotion to the Championship.
Jordan Rhodes not focused on transfer speculation

Huddersfield Town striker Jordan Rhodes has claimed that he finds it "bizarre" to be linked with an array of clubs following a successful season in League Two.
The 22-year-old set the Football League alight this season by netting 40 goals, which helped the Terriers secure promotion to League One via the play-offs.
The forward's scintillating form is believed to have attracted interest from Premier League outfits West Ham United and Everton, as well as SPL champions Celtic.
"It's very flattering when you see your name in the papers linked with big clubs. You dream as a boy you'll someday see your name in lights," Rhodes told the Daily Record.
"Now that I'm starting to see my name like that you don't actually believe it is real. I look at my name and don't think it's me they're talking about. Seeing my name with a £5million figure next to it is a bit strange and all a bit bizarre. Sometimes I look at it and I don't know who they're talking about.
"It's more important to maintain level-headedness and concentrate on what's important in life. It's not up to me what happens off the field or what figures people quote or write in papers."

True, Tottenham cannot claim any sort of high ground on this one.
