Your rumour is correct...as for it being a childish act well that might be somewhat harsh unless you have the whole story.... i believe the coach was overshadowed in the half time talk by a player/official and felt his services where not really required if he wasnt able to make the decisions for which a coach is appointed.....make up your own mind

Got in his car and proceeded to circle Plymptons home ground, beeping his horn while giving the finger. He prob done 5 laps total before he drove off never to be seen again. Was the funniest thing i'd seen in ages & it still brings a tear to my eye, thinking about it, laughing my head off.

I have heard the same thing and it was the president that undermined the coach, in front of all the players, which sounds like he didn't really have the support he required.

I don't understand how you can respect someone that demonstrates his lack of respect for the 11+ players by walking out on them at half time. I would've made damn sure the door hit him on the way out. Obviously had his own intentions at heart and not the Clubs.
