Re: Liverpool 2012/13
Looks like Joe Allen is finally going to Liverpool. Does anybody apart from his old boss rate him, or is he just another average midfielder for squad depth?

Re: Liverpool 2012/13
He looked pretty good for Team GB (god that's a cringe worthy name) in the Olympics thus far. Another Lucas type player, he's not going to win games off his own boot but he'll recycle possession and keep play ticking over. Which is consistent with the style Rodgers wants to play.
Meh not overly arsed if we get him or not, I think Lucas and Hendo would do the job in centre mid, I'd rather spend money on a decent wide player. I think we should have upped our offer for Sigurdsson, we'll go on to rue that one.

Re: Liverpool 2012/13
What a horrific first half. If we play like this for the season, I would consider bringing Roy back. At least Roy wouldn't get my hopes of playing good football up. Outplayed completely and only interested in playing the ball around the back

It's tough to have to play qualifiers before you're anywhere near ready. All about the result.NickyTanner wrote:I told you all, we are no hopers. As for totsreds, how about giving Rodgers a chance before you crucify him, he's only been there five minutes.

0-1 away from home.....Good result. You should hammer them at home. How many qualifiers till they get into the main draw?

NOC, he's been there more than a month. Usually a good manager gets immediate results. Look at Chelsea last season etcNice One Cyril wrote:It's tough to have to play qualifiers before you're anywhere near ready. All about the result.NickyTanner wrote:I told you all, we are no hopers. He's way better than Kenny, I don't get why alot of Pool fans don't like Rodgers.

Re: Liverpool 2012/13
To me, it looked like a lack of desire to be honest. I do rate BR and his game style but it seemed the players weren't interested in trying. Waking up at 3:30 in the morning makes you grumpyNice One Cyril wrote:It's tough to have to play qualifiers before you're anywhere near ready. It's actually the most comfortable shirt I have owned. The goalkeeper one is just what wet dreams are made of.

True Nicky for everyday clothing but for sales in Football tops which is what it is all about unfortunately does not come into consideration and more so with the younger generation.
I'm happy for you, you like your top but as along time supporter i reckon this series of tops this season are the worst ever in my opinion. First time in decades i will not be buying one instead i will be spending my cash on some memorbilia framed tops instead.

Worse than the bird sh*t ones of the 90s? You are having a laugh.
I see you are at Florina, Jeff's bad tastes must be rubbing off on you!
And TBH I couldn't give a sh*t what the tops are like, as long as the home one is red. I support the club and not too worried about what they look like.
