Didn't think there were any mountains high enough to hold snow there, watched Football Mondial this morning and saw snow
capped mountains in Wigan?
What's the sking like and any decent resorts?

They would be the Pennines. To the Eastern side of Wigan, the highest ground being Boundary Park, home of the Gods, nicknamed Ice Station Zebra for a good reason. I've heard our ground labelled as the highest above sea level in Europe, but that's wrong, Wolves beat us by a few metres.

Ok....You Guys in the North, Hows your RL side compared to Wigans?
Back on subject....Is the sking any good or do most of the locals just hop the border?

As far as I know there's no ski resorts in England, a couple in jock land. All of my skiing has been done in the french and swiss alps.
