When did Bolton change...
... their kit to Claret & Blue? Must be the Allardyce factor.
West Ham are a shite team, playing shite football. Talk about parking the bus.

The performance wasn't too bad, and we created a few good chances. Had we equalised before half time with Nolan's ball across to Jarvis being slightly better the result may well have been different.
I suppose you would rather us go gun ho and get screwed on the counter attack by two of the quickest players in the league and lose 4-0 though

You must have still been asleep. They hardly got out of their own half until after Carroll's goal. Bus parking and route one football at it's finest.
At least with Carlton Cole on you had two donkeys to aim at.

It seems our definitions of "hardly" wildly differ.Nice One Cyril wrote:They hardly got out of their own half until after Carroll's goal.

21 shots to 8
60/40 possession
3 goals to 1
It's all very well talking about one pass that might have led to a shot, but what about the two that hit your bar or the five or six decent stops that Jussi made? Too busy blowing bubbles to notice them. BTW how is the chimp?

Because shots, possession, and goals relate to which half the ball is in
We gave 110%, and at the end of the day we were unlucky, but these things even themselves out over the course of the season. Cliche is the only form of speak, yes?

Re: When did Bolton change...
I'll grant you that possession is something of a useless stat and doesn't necessarily denote which half it occurred in, but wtf are you going on about with shots and goals? How many shots and goals do the useless Spammers have from their own half? Unless you're counting the long pumps from Tomkins etc as shots?pernunz wrote:Because shots, possession, and goals relate to which half the ball is in

Face it, you were hugely lucky with the fixture list, Newcastle were / are horribly out of form and you'll be in the bottom half and sinking by Christmas.
Keep on blowin'

Yes, of course we were. We'll be lucky to get 3 points from our next 6 games. It was important to get off to a great early start given our atrocious run coming up.Nice One Cyril wrote:Face it, you were hugely lucky with the fixture list
What do Newcastle have to do with it?Nice One Cyril wrote:Newcastle were / are horribly out of form and you'll be in the bottom half and sinking by Christmas.

Out of the four half decent / decent teams you've played so far, you've lost 2, drawn 1 and beaten the Toon.pernunz wrote:Yes, of course we were. We'll be lucky to get 3 points from our next 6 games.
