Uni should do better than that, they are always pretty fit at this time of year and I think they have retained most of last years squad as well as adding Adrian Leet (whom they have very high hopes for).

Anyone know if they have fixed the issue with the size of the pitch for this year?

Well, the coach called out my name so I will be there... if he actually lets me onto the pitch might be another question!

Any reason why Simmo's playing the reserves instead of the first team?

Not taking the comp serious or seeing if players can make the step up??

I think Uni will win this easy 5-1

Paipss Cisse
he scores when he wants.

Why would they be? The format is the top 4 of Sat & Sun Premier plus the promoted teams into that Div. Who did win it last year?

Previous winner should get a wild card entry

Amateur league seriously need to look at all aspects of this comp. they play the games on a sub standard pitch e.g to narrow and cricket pitch in the middle with a massive pot hole on the halfway line (outside that surface is good). They state you can only have 18 players named for the whole comp which is crazy considering games are on a Friday night and some players have work commitments etc. Only 5 subs allowed per game and given this comp starts 1-2 weeks into most clubs preseason seems crazy to not allow interchange. I think clubs should pull together if they go ahead next year and dictate more reasonable rules. Great concept but poor organization. Hope others are on the same page cos if not can see this turning into a shambles which it shouldn't be!

This is not tennis. It's based on your previous seasons performances, not you previous pre-season performances....

Previous winner of the world cup doesn't even get automatic qualification

There's 18 on the team sheet not for the whole comp.
